Director: "Start."
Mr.Ken (smiling): "Come closer. Don't be shy."
Kurayami, without thinking, lunged at Mr. Ken with astonishing speed.
His movements were fluid, natural, as if he had always known how to fight this way.
He aimed at Mr. Ken's chest, but the latter skillfully parried the attack with his sword.
Kurayami nelost no time.
He quickly followed up by jumping towards him, trying to disarm him.
Mr. Ken, seeing his opponent's determination, used magic to propel himself into the air, letting a gust of wind lift Kurayami off the ground.
Mr.Ken: "Not bad. But you're going to have to do better than that."
He launched a series of wind projectiles towards Kurayami, who was unable to dodge them all.
The gusts hit him, leaving marks on his skin, while his clothes tore slightly.
Kurayami (thought): Damn... He's really strong.
Wounded, but far from giving up, Kurayami slowly got up.
His gaze darkened, a new determination burning in his eyes.
He felt something different, a force rising within him, fueled by his anger and desire for revenge.
Without warning, he moved so quickly that even Mr. Ken was surprised.
He appeared behind him in the blink of an eye, his katana ready to strike. Mr. Ken, although surprised, reacts in time to counter the attack with his sword.
Mr.Ken: "Not bad. But you won't take me that easily."
In one quick motion, Mr. Ken threw fireballs and ice spikes towards Kurayami, hoping to overwhelm him.
However, Kurayami destroyed each projectile with precision, his katana glowing with the impact of the magic.
Aiko watched the scene from a window, her heart racing.
She saw Kurayami's power, but she knew Mr. Ken was a formidable opponent.
Next to her, a student with blond hair laughed as she observed the scene.
Chiharu (teases): "Hey, Aiko, is that your boyfriend fighting there? Hahaha. "
Aiko, exasperated, didn't even turn around.
Aiko (embarrassed): "I already told you he's not my boyfriend!"
Mr. Ken was starting to lose his patience.
He hadn't expected this fight to last this long.
Determined to end this ordeal quickly, he used a paralysis spell, casting magical chains to bind Kurayami to the ground.
The latter, surprised, struggled to free himself, but the chains were incredibly powerful.
Mr.Ken: "It's over for you."
The headmaster watched intently, his expression relaxing slightly.
Director (thought): "He does indeed have potential. I have to at least give Aiko credit for that."
Kurayami, on the ground, looked up and suddenly felt an immense amount of mana accumulating around Mr. Ken.
Looking up, he saw the latter preparing a gigantic ball of energy. A bright white aura enveloped his hands, forming a sphere that grew larger by the second.
Director (distraught): "Mr Ken! What are you doing?!"
Mr. Ken, determined to put an end to this, threw the fireball, which transformed into a huge white laser heading straight towards Kurayami, ready to reduce him to ashes.
Mr.Ken: "This boy, he stinks like hell."
The sun bathed the academy courtyard in scarlet light, a palpable tension filled the air.
The calm was broken when a loud thud sounded behind Mr. Ken.
Before he could finish his sentence, he whipped around to see Kurayami standing up, his clothes torn and a chilling breath escaping his lips.
Every step he took seemed charged with a dark, menacing energy.
He swayed slightly to the left, his balance unsteady, as if he would collapse at any moment.
But before anyone could react, his body vanished in a flash, reappearing right in front of Mr. Ken. With a violent punch, he sent Mr. Ken flying through the air.
Mr. Ken, disoriented by the force of the blow, did not even have time to regain his senses as Kurayami was already on him, jumping with supernatural agility.
A vicious kick hit him in the stomach, sending him crashing back to the ground, raising a cloud of dust around him.
Kurayami (contempt): "I expected better from an angel of your rank…"
Aiko, watching the scene from a corner of the courtyard, felt her heart sink. She began to tremble, her gaze fixed on Kurayami.
Aiko (thought): "Kurayami...?!"
The aura around Kurayami grew even more intense, taking on a sinister purple hue that spread in menacing waves all around him.
An overwhelming pressure fell across the entire academy, forcing several students to their knees under its invisible weight.
Mr. Ken, struggling to breathe under the crushing pressure, looked at Kurayami in horror.
He was no longer the teenager he had seen earlier.
Before him stood a demon, a terrifying entity brimming with rage.
Suddenly, Kurayami conjured a huge spear, its tip glinting menacingly in front of him.
Kurayami (whispers): "I will avenge my sister, no matter the cost…"
Meanwhile, in the halls of the academy, excitement was in full swing.
Ryota: "There's no way a novice like him can defeat Mr. Ken!"
Takumi (mocking): "Ladies and gentlemen, all bets are off! Who will win, is the fool right or not?"
Ryota (annoyed): "Hey! What did you say there?!"
As Kurayami was about to throw his gigantic spear at Mr. Ken, he suddenly disappeared, dodging the attack with incredible speed.
Mr.Ken: "That's enough!"
In a quick movement, Mr. Ken appeared behind Kurayami's back and with a precise blow, he struck his neck. The shock immediately incapacitated Kurayami, who collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
Miyu, watching the scene from a window, sighed in annoyance.
Miyu (whispers): "Pfff… What a disappointing fight, as pathetic as the new one…"
Aiko, standing not far from her, felt a comforting hand placed on her shoulder.
Rika: "Don't listen to them."
Aiko: "Yeah, you're right… I just hope he pulls through"
Rika: "Are you going to be okay?"
Aiko hesitated for a moment, her mind overcome by a storm of conflicting emotions.
Aiko (whispers): "Yeah… I think…"
When the fight was over, a general astonishment overcame the students present.
No one could believe what they had just seen.
The academy nurse quickly arrived on the scene to take the still unconscious Kurayami to the infirmary for treatment.
As for Mr. Ken, after finishing his lesson, he stomped towards the principal.
Director (furious): "What happened to you? I asked you to give him a test, not to kill him!"
Mr. Ken (furious): "And I was expecting a student! Not to a demon!!"
The director and Mr. Ken then head to see Aiko
Director: "This demon thing? Can you explain to me, Ms. Aiko?"
Aiko, taken aback, shook her head.
Aiko (anxious): "I... I swear I don't know!"
Mr. Ken (skeptical): "So where did you find it?"
Aiko: "He was fighting the demon from my mission when I arrived!"
Mr. Ken: "And for you, is it normal that a simple human can compete with a demon?"
Aiko: "No, but... he can't be one since he wants to kill them all"
Mr. Ken crossed his arms, his gaze dark.
Mr. Ken: "Could be an excuse to sneak in here."
Aiko: "But his whole family was killed by this demon! This is what pushed him to want to exterminate them. You saw his potential, right?"
Mr. Ken, despite himself, nodded slightly.
Mr. Ken: "That, for potential, he has some… he admitted reluctantly. What were his results in the magic tests?"
Director: "He has an affinity for dark magic and dragon magic…"
Mr. Ken's eyes widened in astonishment.
Mr. Ken: "What!? Now, I'm sure, he's not just a human. It's impossible."
At that moment, a female figure, with long purple hair, stood out from the shadow of the wall against which she was leaning.
She had listened to the conversation discreetly, but now all eyes were on her.
Director: "How about you join the conversation, Madam Kuroda…"
