(Happy Halloween Guys ENJOY!)
The crisp autumn air filled with the scent of fallen leaves and the distant sound of children laughing and yelling "trick or treat" wrapped around the small neighborhood. It was Halloween, and Kaminari's house was vibrantly decorated with orange and black streamers, skeletons hanging from trees, and an array of carved pumpkins lighting up the porch. Inside, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming; the faint flicker of candlelight illuminated the room, where colorful bowls overflowed with candy.
Y/N arrived first, a playful grin on their face as they stepped through the door, greeted by the sight of Kaminari in a ridiculous ghost costume, complete with a white sheet and eye holes cut out sloppily.
"Y/N! You made it! Check out my sick ghost costume!" Kaminari exclaimed, striking a goofy pose.
"Very spooky, Kaminari," Y/N chuckled, shaking their head.
As the night unfolded, Kirishima arrived in a handmade "rock monster" costume, spackled with gray paint and fake boulders. Together, the trio handed out candy to kids in costumes and settled down with a plethora of Halloween-themed movies. They popped popcorn and their laughter echoed through the house, a rare moment of solace away from their hero duties.
As the evening grew darker, the candy bowls emptied and the movie marathon turned into an impromptu drinking game featuring the worst horror films they could find. Sipping their drinks, they shared stories, raucous laughter spilling from their lips. Kaminari, being the life of the party, began to act a bit more reckless after a couple of shots.
"Hey, do you guys ever think, like, what if we can't be pros forever? What would we do?" he slurred, a goofy grin plastered across his face.
Kirishima, cheeks reddened, laughed. "Well, I guess we'd just have to stick together. We make a pretty good team, right?"
Y/N smiled softly, feeling the warmth of camaraderie wash over them. There was something wonderfully intoxicating about this night. They felt a little tipsy but mostly happy, surrounded by their friends, free from the weight of their superhero responsibilities.
Later in the night, the air became charged with an unspoken tension. They dove into deeper conversations, confessions spilling out easily under the influence of the drinks.
Kaminari waved his arms dramatically during one of Kirishima's stories. "This is all great! But can we just talk about how cool Y/N is? Like, seriously, how did we get so lucky having them on our team?"
Kirishima nodded vigorously, his eyes bright. "Yeah! Y/N is like—no, Y/N is amazing. The way you handled that mission last week? Incredible!"
Feeling a rush of affection, Y/N found their heart pounding. Casually, they leaned closer, looking into Kirishima's warm gaze. "You two are pretty awesome yourself, you know," they said, heart racing.
Then, almost impulsively, they cupped Kirishima's face, leaning in and pressing their lips against his. In that moment, everything else faded away. The kiss was soft, sincere, and as they pulled back, Y/N's eyes widened in realization of what they had just done.
Both boys were shocked, yet they shared a glance that spoke volumes. They pivoted from surprise to a smile, reciprocating with more enthusiastic kisses—Kaminari joining in the rush of emotions, leading to a flurry of laughter and speechless expressions of excitement.
When morning came, the three of them awoke in an unfamiliar muddle—Kaminari sprawled on the couch, Y/N nestled against the armrest, and Kirishima buried in plush blankets.
A wave of awkwardness flowed over them as memories from the night before started to trickle in. Y/N's face flushed crimson as they caught Kirishima's gaze, realization dawning upon both of them.
"Oh no," Y/N murmured, hiding their face in their hands.
"What happened?" Kaminari blurted sleepily, the remnants of the night slowly coming back to him. "Did we—?"
Kirishiima nodded, running a hand through his messy hair. "It looks like we did… wow, what a night!"
Laughter erupted, breaking the tension. Perhaps it was the state of their tipsy truths, but what had started as a silly Halloween night had morphed into something more significant. They were aware now—what they shared was something meaningful.
Kaminari grinned. "So... does this mean we're officially calling ourselves a 'team' now? Like, more than just pro heroes?"
Y/N felt warmth spread through them. "I guess it does," they confirmed, sharing a glance with Kirishima, who smiled brightly back.
"Well, team or not, I think we should do this again," Kirishima said, full of enthusiasm, "but maybe with less drinking?"
"Deal," Y/N replied, a playful smirk on their lips. The beginning of something new was in the air, and they all felt it.
