Romeo giggled softly, "Missy, that's how love is. It messes with us."
"I don't want it," I cried.
"Unfortunately for us, the heart wants what it wants, Missy!" Ugh.
Ugh, that damned Selena Gomez song that made this quote popular. Ugh.

I blacked out in the car, when I woke up, I was already laying down in my new bed of my new room. Door locked, Luigi and Leo sleeping in the big leather maroon red couch hugging each other. And to my dismay, The Heart Wants What It Wants by Selena Gomez playing softly on the speaker of Leo's phone.
Annoyed, I got up in cat steps, turned his phone off and covered the couple with the dark red cashmere blanket folded over the leather massage chair at the left corner of my new room, turning the lights all off. Then, I picked the red towel they had separated for me, one of the black dress Armani oversized shirts from my papa that I began to use as a pajama, and went to the bathroom.
Without washing my wavy long black hair, which I was the only one of my siblings to get it from papa as all of them came out blonde like mama and with papa's eyes and mama's pale skin, while I got mama's eyes and papa's golden skin. After I put the pajamas on together with my favorite black fluffy slippers, and my black Calvin Klein matching underwear, I decided to take a look at my room.
But before, I picked my red headphones and put Money on the Dash (Sped Up version) by Elley Duhé ft. Whethan to play. Not loud enough that it would bust out o the headphones and bother the boys.
It's my first time in this villa… castle, whatever they want to call this mansion, that is anything but a house. I've never been here, but all of my siblings, Misha, and his siblings have. I refused to come because I was not in the mood, and I still am not in it, but alright, not like I have an escape now. Since I graduated from both the two courses I did in MIT, I won't be able to runaway from them to the US anymore, and I'll have to deal with my overwhelming Italian famiglia and it's even more overbearing members, that just doubled in size.
Being a historic property from the Santorini, I knew there would have secret passages and secret rooms in all chambers, mine included, since she once told me all of the oldest properties of her famiglia had this in common. And as I snooped around all the little places I could, I was not disappointed.
Three secret passages, two secret rooms. It's beyond amazing.
I've always used those passages and secret rooms to hide when I was growing up in our villa in Milan. But that villa doesn't even come closer to this one as expected. The architecture here is on another level, it's richer, more detailed, needlessly to compare the sizes.
Tying my long hair in a loose bun on the top of my head, I put my glasses on, which I still use but only when I'm home and for reading, that are black and delicate in a cat-eye design that suits me according to papa, who said I looked like a little cat with siren-shaped eyes, which I got from him as well, the others didn't. I picked my iPad with my Slytherin black silicone case, connected my headphone to it and put Too Late by Chase Atlantic to play in repeat in a low volume, as I quickly hacked the system of the mansion and got myself the map of it.
Child's play.
It's good to mark on it where each of the three secret passages will take me to, so I'll be able to make a better use of them for as long as I live in here. Then, I counted to 20 to help and picked the 2nd entry, going inside it with my hand-sized dark red flashlight as it was pitch black inside. Right now being 2 in the morning doesn't help much.
From the middle of it, it's pathway forked in three and I picked the left, noting down my way on the iPad with my black iPen. All of my siblings would be shitting themselves right now, as they always hated the secret passages of our villas, but I loved them. Papa used to explore them all with me, until we mapped the whole villa. Even the ones from my siblings' rooms, since they didn't want to do it.
He would have loved this one, given how it clearly has ten times more ground to explore, but I'll do it for him and for me.
Swallowing my emotions, I clenched my jaw, feeling the song, until a big door clearly untouched for more than two generations, appeared in my sight. As I put my stuff down on the side of the ground, I used the strength I honed on those past years trainings on the gym and in martial arts on the door, and after some pushing, it moved. Quickly I picked my things from the ground and passed through it, leaving it open for precaution.
And I froze when I pushed my headphones down and heard Moth to a Flame by The Weeknd ft. Swedish House Mafia playing somewhere inside this place. Clenching my hands on my iPad I walked inside, until I froze.
It was the pathway to the ice skating rink, and the person ice skating on it at the sound of The Weeknd, was none other than Misha. And the second he made a turn on the ice and his body turned to me, our eyes met and felt my heart speeding up like a bitch. But before I could turn around and run to where I came from, he called for me.
"Mia, wait," and that was enough to make me freeze on my tracks.
