In the dimly lit room, Damian, Grace, and Mike gathered around the PC, their attention focused on the call with Chris. The conversation was quick but filled with anticipation.
"We're on our way to George Waterfront Park," Chris's voice crackled over the line.
Damian replied, "Got it. We'll meet you there," and disconnected the call. He turned to Grace and Mike, who exchanged a quick nod.
"Ready?" Damian asked, a spark of determination in his eyes.
Grace replied with a firm nod. "Let's get moving."
Mike grinned. "Let's roll."
They left the apartment, stepping out into the brisk November air, and flagged down a taxi. Settling into the backseat, Damian gave the driver directions to the park, and soon they were weaving through traffic, the city blurring past as they went.
