8:10 PM - GEORGE WATERFRONT PARK
December 2nd, 2031
Damian stood in the middle of the deserted park, shouting up at the night sky in frustration, his fists clenched. "You piece of trash system, you don't get to just vanish whenever you want! I'm your damn employer—temporary or not! What the hell do you think I am, huh?!"
He waited for a response, glaring upwards, but the system remained silent, as though refusing to stoop to Damian's level of outrage.
Breathing heavily, Damian muttered curses under his breath, a mixture of fury and embarrassment flaring up as he continued ranting to the system only he could see. But his one-sided argument was abruptly interrupted by a voice, smooth and slightly amused, echoing through the quiet park.
"Never thought I'd catch you shouting at the stars," the voice said, a trace of amusement in her tone.
