I scored 70 out of 100 and immediately received an email informing me of my admission to Crownstar High. I was thrilled, as I had heard that it was difficult to get into this school. My parents had hired the best teachers for my homeschooling, so I knew I wasn't dull. Layla assured me that I would enjoy the outside life.
Excitedly, I called my parents, and they sent over some money for school preparation. I had to go shopping by myself, as my cousin had plans with her boyfriend. I took a cab to the supermarket, and as soon as I entered, a guy rudely brushed past me and stepped on me without apologizing.
Despite this, I continued shopping and went to the counter to pay. To my surprise, the same guy appeared and started yelling at the lady at the counter. It was clear that he had anger issues and was quite rude.
After paying, I confronted him about his behavior, but he brushed me off and left me in his expensive car. I felt shaken by the encounter, especially as people were staring at me. I left and took a cab home, trying to hold back my tears.
Upon returning home, I planned my outfit for the first day of school, and Layla later came over to share some chocolates and sweets. I told her about the incident at the supermarket, and she found it amusing. She advised me not to judge the outside world based on this one experience.
After she left, I showered and went to bed, wondering about what the next day at school would bring.
