That morning, Aiden had been trying to avoid Derek. The latter had been acting upon his threat from the previous night immediately the cock crowed.
"Getting into a fight with him this early will garner unwanted attention for me again. I can't afford to get punished for being involved in another trouble." Aiden had thought and started avoiding Derek who was bent on getting him into trouble.
"I thought you have found your voice. I thought you have now grown balls to stand up for yourself so what is happening this morning? Have you suddenly lost the newfound voice and strength?" Derek had sneered at him, his voice laced with contempt.
"Use your voice. Use your strength on me, you fool!" He added, taunting him. However, Aiden refused to give him what he wanted.
