Aiden's POV
"Don't push me." I growled out.
The growl that escaped my throat surprised even me. It was a sound I had never made before, deep and primal, filled with a rage I didn't know I possessed. The cell fell silent, all eyes turning to me in shock.
Kylie took a step back, her eyes widening in disbelief and shock. For a moment, I saw a flicker of fear cross her face, and it sent a thrill through me.
So I could actually make someone fearful like that? Me, that was bullied, beaten and mocked for being an abomination all my life?
"What did you say to me, Omega?" Kylie finally said and hissed, but her voice lacked its usual venom. There was an undercurrent of uncertainty that I had never heard before.
I stood up slowly, my body trembling not with fear, but with a strange, exhilarating energy. My wolf was pacing inside me, urging me on, reminding me of our newfound resolve.
