Third person's POV
Dim light filtered through the barred window, casting long shadows across the grimy floor. At the female warrior's statement, Kylie first furrowed her eyebrows in confusion; afterwards, a deep frown made its way onto her face, etching lines of displeasure across her once-pristine features.
Then, she shook her head firmly, her silky hair whipping around her face, as if saying no would immediately change the warrior's mind.
"You can't do that... I am not even the one at fault." Kylie protested, her voice firm and demanding, echoing off the cold stone walls just like how she always sounded when she was still the pampered daughter of Alpha Garrett of the Shadowpaw pack. The words tasted bitter on her tongue, a stark contrast to the sweet commands she was used to giving.
