Chapter 9 - Which girl do you like?

William glanced up at Claire, only to find her gazing back at him with a teasing smile. It suddenly hit him—this girl was already trying to seduce him so early in the evening. She was trouble, no doubt about it.

He thought about pulling his foot back, but he couldn't resist the sensation. He stole a quick glance at his aunt to make sure she wasn't paying attention, and then kept his head down, focusing on his food.

But Claire wasn't done with him. Her leg, clad in black stockings, gently brushed against his heel and slowly moved up his calf. Her toes lightly grazed William's skin, and before long, she was teasing the inside of his thigh.

With so many beautiful women around the table, William, still a virgin, found himself overwhelmed by the situation. His face flushed, and something else started to rise, pressing against his pants. Thankfully, the tablecloth hid his predicament, and everyone assumed his red face was just from the drinks, given that he'd mentioned earlier he wasn't much of a drinker.

As the group continued eating and chatting, they'd occasionally glance over at William, noticing that he was just quietly eating with a flushed face. No one thought much of it, assuming the shy guy was just nervous about dining with so many women. Claire, on the other hand, was unusually quiet for once, only focusing on her food.

But beneath the table, her leg inched closer to William's inner thigh. When she accidentally brushed against his growing hardness, Claire shot William a playful glance.

William glanced up at the same moment, catching her mischievous look. His heart raced—this girl was definitely up to no good, teasing him like this in front of everyone.

Not wanting to be outdone, William decided to strike back. He slipped off his leather shoe and nudged Claire's leg.

"Who's kicking me?" Suddenly, Isolde, who was seated on Claire's other side, spoke up.

The group froze.

William quickly retracted his foot, but his movement didn't go unnoticed. All eyes turned to him.

Realizing there was no escaping this, William's already flushed face turned even redder. He knew he couldn't talk his way out of this one, so he just apologized, "Sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you…"

Isolde shot him a cold glance. If it weren't for Sophia's presence, she might've lost her temper. Instead, she just huffed, accepting his apology with a dismissive nod.

But then, a voice dripping with mischief chimed in, "Sophie, your nephew's got some nerve. We're just trying to have a nice dinner, and here he is, making a move on Iso. Could it be that he's got a thing for her?"

"No, no, I swear, it was an accident! I was just shifting my feet and accidentally bumped into her…" William quickly explained, glaring at Claire, but he didn't dare reveal that he'd been the one teased first.

"An accident, huh? Then why didn't you accidentally bump into me?" Claire wasn't about to let him off the hook, her tone still playful.

William's frustration grew. This girl was too much. He silently vowed to get back at her when he had the chance—he'd make sure she was the one begging for mercy.

"Morgan, are you hoping I'll 'accidentally' bump into you next?" William decided to go on the offensive.

"Pfft…" Sure enough, his comeback made everyone laugh, even the usually icy Isolde. Claire, on the other hand, was almost taken aback by his boldness, but she quickly recovered and giggled, "Yep, that's exactly what I want. You really do know how to get to a girl's heart, don't you?"

"Alright, you flirt," Sophia stepped in, not wanting William to suffer any more. She knew that when it came to banter, William didn't stand a chance against Claire. "We're here to eat, so let's save the flirting for later. Now hurry up and finish your food—we've got places to be afterward."

The group chuckled again, but the teasing finally stopped, and William and Claire were left in peace.

The dinner eventually came to a close without any further incidents. Claire didn't glance at William again, which was a relief, but it also left him feeling a bit disappointed. Had she gotten mad at him for snapping back? He didn't notice that while Claire avoided looking at him, her sister Amelia kept stealing glances his way. Even Isolde, usually so aloof, would sneak a look at him from time to time, as if she found him intriguing.

As for Ariana, her big, bright eyes were practically glued to him the entire time.

Despite being just a small-town boy, William's tall build and handsome features, coupled with his slight, endearing shyness, seemed to have caught the attention of the girls.

After the welcoming dinner, Sophia led the group to the Royal Club, one of the most upscale spots in Harrison City. It was a favorite haunt of Sophia and her friends, a place where they often gathered to let loose.

The club manager personally escorted them to a lavish private room. Including William, there were seven people in total.

The room wasn't huge, but it was exquisitely furnished—a large, semi-circular sofa surrounded an equally large crystal coffee table. Behind them was a private restroom, and in front, a massive screen.

Drinks and snacks were already laid out, and Sophia dismissed the manager, shutting the door behind him. Ariana, unable to contain her excitement, ran over to the karaoke machine to start picking songs, while Claire beckoned Sophia over with a challenging smirk.

"Sophie, last time you got wasted, and you weren't too happy about it. Well, here's your chance to redeem yourself…" Claire teased, shrugging off her thin blazer and tossing it onto the sofa, revealing her bare, smooth shoulders. Her large, firm breasts practically spilled out of her top.

The sight of her cleavage, barely contained, had William swallowing hard as heat surged through his body.

"Bring it on, I'm not scared of you," Sophia fired back. Then she turned to Ella, "Ella, you have a few drinks with this troublemaker first—I need to have a word with William."

Sophia pulled William into a corner, draping an arm over his shoulder. Leaning in close to his ear, she whispered, "So, Will, anyone catch your eye tonight? Tell your auntie, and I'll make sure she ends up in your bed tonight…"

William froze, staring at Sophia in shock.

Auntie, you're something else!
