"Go ahead, ask…" Amelia huffed, eager to turn the tables.
"What color are your panties?" William leaned in closer, his eyes sneaking a peek down her neckline. Sure enough, he could just make out the faint outline of her bra. It really was purple and black!
"Black. Lace," Amelia replied without hesitation. Then, without waiting for William to react, she grabbed the dice and gave them a vigorous shake before slamming the cup down on the coffee table with a sharp thud.
William smiled to himself, his mind wandering to thoughts of Amelia's black lace panties. He grabbed the cup and shook it as well, following up with a loud slam on the table.
This time, William didn't wait for Amelia to reveal her roll. He quickly lifted his cup and frowned at what he saw—three fours, a two, and two ones, totaling only sixteen points. His face fell, clearly disappointed.
Amelia, on the other hand, was thrilled. Gotcha, kid! This time I'm going to crush you…
With a swift motion, Amelia lifted her cup, but as she looked at the dice, her expression turned to shock.
Four twos, a three, and a one—only twelve points? How was that possible? Ever since she'd learned dice tricks from a master, she'd never rolled such a low score. Was it because she'd been too angry earlier?
Amelia had no idea that her initial roll had probably been much higher, but William's final shake had jumbled her dice just enough to ruin her score.
"Hahaha, Amelia, you're having some seriously bad luck tonight. That's three losses in a row… Come on, have a glass of wine and then choose—truth or dare?" William teased, grabbing the bottle and filling her glass.
"Ask your question…" Amelia rolled her eyes at William, downing the glass in one go.
He already knew the color of her panties and bra—what else could he possibly ask that would be more embarrassing?
"When was the first time you had sex??" William asked with a mischievous grin.
Amelia's eyes widened in disbelief. This little pervert… What kind of question is that?
Asking about my first time? I'm still a virgin, you little creep! she thought.
"I haven't had sex," Amelia answered truthfully, taking a deep breath to steady herself before shaking the dice again.
William's eyes lit up. A virgin? Seriously?
But Amelia ignored the glint in William's eyes, focusing on the dice. She grabbed the cup again, this time calming herself before she shook it.
William chuckled lightly, casually shaking his own cup. When they revealed their rolls, Amelia had scored twenty-one points, but William—by some miracle—had rolled thirty-one points!
Amelia's frustration reached a boiling point. This guy's luck is insane! Is he really this lucky, or is he just playing dumb? Four rounds in, and she hadn't won a single one!
"What else do you want to ask?" Amelia grumbled, trying to keep her anger in check.
"Do you like me, Amelia?" William leaned in with a sly grin.
Amelia was taken aback, not expecting such a shameless question. She was about to say no, but then William added, "Remember, it's truth or dare…"
She shot William a fierce glare.
Do I like him? she wondered. Looking at his face, more handsome than most movie stars, she had to admit—if she said she didn't like him at all, that would be a lie. But they'd only just met today! How could she say she liked him?
"Yeah, I like you…" Amelia muttered through gritted teeth.
"Heh, I like you too, Amelia. The moment I walked into this room, I couldn't take my eyes off you. I was captivated by your beauty…" William shamelessly lied, moving closer to her. In reality, when he'd entered the room, all his attention had been on Claire—he hadn't even noticed Amelia.
"Really?" Amelia asked, surprised but pleased.
Among this group of women, Sophia and Ella were renowned as the twin beauties of Harrison City—everyone knew how stunning they were. Her sister had a mature, seductive charm that drove men wild, and even Isolde, though a few years younger, had a cool, aloof vibe that attracted plenty of admirers. Even Ariana, with her baby face and large chest, drew a lot of attention.
When she wasn't around them, Amelia was considered a knockout in her own right, but whenever they were together, she always felt like a supporting character. Sure, they were all close, and one of them was her sister, but every woman has a competitive side, and Amelia was no exception.
So hearing William say this made her heart swell with joy.
"Of course, I swear…" William whispered confidently in her ear.
"You little charmer, always saying the right thing. Come on, let's keep playing…" Amelia said, now in a much better mood.
"You still want to play?" William asked, surprised.
"What? Are you scared? Afraid you'll lose?" Amelia teased with a cold smile.
"No, it's not that… It's just, according to the rules, if you lose five times in a row, you have to do a dare. What if I really ask you to do a striptease? Will you do it?" William asked, pretending to be concerned.
"If you can really keep beating me, then sure, I'll do it. What's there to be afraid of…" Amelia replied, now sounding like a gambler on a losing streak. She couldn't believe she'd lose again.
"Alright then…" William sighed, as Amelia began shaking the dice furiously, slamming the cup down on the table.
"You're dead meat…" Amelia grinned wickedly.
"Feeling confident, huh?" William asked skeptically.
"Absolutely…" Amelia said as she lifted her cup, revealing a perfect roll—six sixes.
"Damn, okay, I give up. Ask your question…" William was genuinely surprised.
"No way. You haven't rolled yet—I don't want you saying I didn't win fair and square…" Amelia insisted.
"There's no way I can beat that roll…" William sighed, thinking to himself how shameless she was being. You rolled a perfect score, and you're still worried about winning fair and square?
"Who says? If you roll six ones, you can still beat me…" Amelia said smugly.
"Six ones? That's impossible… Whoa, would you look at that—six ones…" William said with mock resignation, casually shaking his cup. When he lifted it, six bright red ones were staring up at them.
Amelia was completely dumbfounded. Is this guy really just lucky, or is he actually a genius at this?
"Heh, Amelia, I think it's my turn to make a request now. You did say you'd do whatever I asked…" William grinned mischievously.
Amelia recoiled slightly, looking at William with pleading eyes. "You're not really going to make me do a striptease, are you?"
"Come on, I like you too much to make you do something like that in front of everyone. All I want is…"
