The next day, Ivan woke up, showered, dressed, and put on light makeup before heading to her lab. Although the injury on her forehead hadn't healed yet, she used an early version of Nadro spray and her makeup almost concealed the bruise.
At this moment, her aura changed. She had been mostly gloomy after working in this facility for many months, but today she had a calm and relaxed demeanor.
The security guards in black armor and helmets stared at her as usual, but they seemed to keep staring as if they knew something had shifted inside her. They quickly looked away once Ivan returned their gaze.
