The sky was dark, not because the holographic display had gone blank like it did many days ago, but because of the Eclipse that shrouded the world in darkness. The only source of illumination came from the explosions of the battle around me, casting vibrant shades of blue and red.
I ran towards the cracking hole, its size resembling that of a grave, deep enough to bury a person. As I approached the hole, I saw Johnny lying inside, breathing heavily, his eyes wide open. He must be suffering greatly, with blood still streaming out, engulfing him in a pool of crimson.
With a concerned and pitiful expression, I summoned a mystical healing potion and stepped into the hole, about to lift his chin to feed him the elixir. Unexpectedly, he tightly grabbed onto my hand and looked at me with trembling eyes that gradually lost the light within his pupils.
"Drink it, or you will die," I said, my voice quavering.
