Someone needed to step up to calm things down, and just as I was about to do that, the black-haired girl reached out her hand to stop me. Instead, she walked past me and said, "I will lead you guys to a safe place."
Hyun Hee was about to lose her composure, but thankfully, the black-haired girl raised her voice to interrupt her.
The crowd gave puzzled looks, and someone even shouted back, "Who is this ugly girl?"
"You're delusional if you think a young girl like you with a low rank can protect us," another person chimed in.
She frowned but quickly tried to maintain an unpleasant smile. To be honest, she wasn't ugly. She just looked average, but there was something about her face and figure that I couldn't quite pinpoint.
"I see. Do you want me to demonstrate my power? Then all of you can stay here and argue until those bastard rankers from the other guilds in the stadium come and slaughter all of you." The black-haired girl said.
