Chapter 10 - Chapter 11: Blood Money**

Colleagues are enemies, and Gotham City is full of straightforward citizens, with gang leaders as numerous as the stars. There are over a dozen massive, well-known crime families, but none have ever managed to unify Gotham's underworld for long.

As a traditional local family, many forces want to eliminate Sionis's power.

With fewer families sharing the pie, each remaining family gets a bigger slice. Nothing much to say about that.

The key issue is the name "Atreus," which, the moment it appeared, caused a rare ripple in the otherwise calm mind of Bruce Wayne.

Batman, ever impartial, gave an icy command: "Alfred, create a file on Atreus."

"A file? No problem, sir. I've got his DNA report, every bill from the time he was seven until this month, intelligence on all of his security personnel, and all the details of the nightclub singer he just started seeing. Is there any other information you need?" The butler replied seriously.

Batman's face remained expressionless: "Put it in the E-Class files."

"Right away, sir."

Atreus had no idea that his first move had already earned him a spot in Batman's personal record. All he knew was that Wonder Woman must have found out by now.

Indeed, just as he killed Black Mask, a subtle smile curled on the lips of Wonder Woman, who was resting in the guest room.

If anyone had been there, they might have thought she was having a pleasant dream.

Morning broke, quiet and still.

A deep red sun rose slowly over the horizon.

Atreus was driving a typical beach jet ski as he quietly pulled up to a small dock on the edge of a private island.

The island wasn't huge, and a mere security team of a hundred people couldn't possibly cover it all. And besides, how could the island's security systems fool its owner?

Before long, inside the mansion, Atreus again saw the 'restrained one' on the bed.

"You bastard! Hurry back already, at least tell me if you're dead or alive!" Black Canary, with dark circles under her eyes and tear stains on her face, cursed angrily. Unfortunately for her, she was still stuck in the straitjacket, unable to wipe away the tears, leaving her looking like a tragic, smudged-face cat.

Finally, the long-anticipated secret door slowly opened. But when she saw the man stepping through it, her heart nearly stopped.

"No! Mr. Sionis, I—" She was genuinely terrified, almost to the point of wetting herself.

Black Mask was infamous for his brutal torture. His signature skill was inflicting both physical and psychological torment to extract information or punish his victims.

Falling into his hands, even a quick death was a luxury.

Looking at Black Canary, who seemed on the verge of a heart attack, Atreus, who prided himself on professional composure, couldn't help it—he laughed.

Okay, fine!

He couldn't hold it back.

"Pfft!"

That laugh probably cost him some good karma.

But it also allowed Black Canary to relax a little, finally realizing that the terrifying Black Mask's left temple was missing a chunk. No matter what Roman did, he couldn't take out his Atreus on this hypnotic mask.

The mask was his most prized possession, and legend had it that he killed his parents after they destroyed his beloved mask.

But now that the symbol of Roman's power was in Atreus's hands...

Looking at Atreus's mischievous grin, Dinah Lance unknowingly blushed, her voice becoming soft and confused: "Black Mask, he..."

"Unfortunately, he was killed by the Joker. As a good, law-abiding citizen, I just happened to pick this up." Atreus casually tossed the mask onto the table, as if throwing away an unwanted toy.

The more nonchalant Atreus acted, the more terrified Black Canary became after her brief moment of joy.

This was Gotham, after all!

How many years had the Sionis family been entrenched in Gotham?

How many years had Roman, the Black Mask, ruled the underworld?

His name alone could bring tears to a child's eyes in the slums.

And now, within just a few hours of Atreus promising her this, Black Mask was dead?

The young, sunny billionaire in front of her suddenly seemed to grow into a hellish demon in her mind.

"Yes, yes, yes," Black Canary forced out a professional smile.

"And as for your future…" Atreus's next words made Black Canary's heart race. "I have some bad news: the Joker's gang blew up the Black Mask Club. So, unfortunately, you're out of a job."

The blonde bombshell's eyes widened. *So ruthless?*

"That really is unfortunate news."

"I happen to have an opening for a secretary. Would you like to apply?"

*Can I say no?*

That was what she thought, but she kept a stiff smile on her face: "That would be wonderful. I was worried members of the Mask Empire might come after me or my family."

Atreus nodded and placed his hands on the buckles of Dinah's straitjacket. *She's still tied up like a mummy.*

But Atreus could feel her trembling slightly.

Once he had unwrapped her, Atreus blushed. "Ahem, couldn't they have at least untied these ropes?"

Black Canary was dying of embarrassment: *You're the one who tied me up like a turtle shell! They wouldn't dare undo it!*

But what came out of her mouth was: "Thank you, sir."

It took a full ten minutes to untie all the knots, and when he was done, Black Canary bolted for the bathroom.

Atreus smirked, sensing her submissive nature. "Black Canary, my dear. I've been waiting for the right moment to claim you as my own."

They shared a passionate kiss, their tongues entwining as if vying for dominance. Atreus's calloused hand trailed down her back, leaving a fiery trail in its wake. He cupped her ample derrière, pulling her closer to him.

"Do you yield to me, Black Canary?" Atreus growled, his voice thick with desire.

"Yes, Master. I am yours to do with as you please," she whispered, her voice trembling with anticipation.

They found solace in a secluded lair, a dimly lit den adorned with gothic trinkets and plush velvet accents. Black Canary knelt before Atreus, her eyes locked with his as she unzipped his trousers, freeing his swollen member.

"Rub my clit, Black Canary. Show me how badly you crave me," Atreus commanded, his eyes never leaving hers.

Her delicate fingers grazed his shaft, eliciting a deep, guttural groan from Atreus. He leaned back against the velvet cushion, his eyes never leaving hers as she pleasured herself.

"Yes, Master. I am yours to do with as you please," she whispered, her voice trembling with anticipation.

Heaving with desire, Black Canary positioned herself atop Atreus, her slick entrance hovering just above his throbbing member. "Sit on my cock, Black Canary. Show me how much you desire me," Atreus growled, his voice thick with desire.

With a seductive smile, Black Canary lowered herself onto him, his swollen member sliding deep within her. Their bodies melded together, their breaths coming in ragged gasps as they found a primal rhythm.

"Faster, Black Canary. Take me deeper," Atreus demanded, his fingers digging into her hips as he guided her movements.

"Yes, Master. Faster, harder, yes," she moaned, her voice a sultry melody of pleasure and submission.

Their bodies moved in perfect synchrony, the sound of flesh slapping against flesh filling the air, punctuated by their moans and gasps of ecstasy. As they neared the precipice of their shared climax, Atreus's grip on Black Canary tightened, his voice a hoarse whisper in her ear.

"Come for me, Black Canary. Surrender to me entirely," Atreus commanded, his lips brushing against her ear.

With a final, desperate thrust, they both shattered, their climaxes crashing together like a violent thunderstorm. As they caught their breaths, Black Canary nuzzled against Atreus's chest, her heart still racing with the aftershocks of their passionate encounter.

"I am yours, Master. Forever and always,"

Twenty minutes later, she returned, dressed in a thick bathrobe. She had come in her battle suit, which had been minimal to avoid hindering her spy work. Now, despite the bathrobe, she still felt powerless to resist Atreus.

To make things worse, as she stepped out, the first rays of morning sunlight illuminated the room.

What she saw was a handsome young man drinking coffee while the morning news played in the background.

"Last night, the Black Mask Club was attacked by the Joker's gang. Explosions and gunfire resulted in dozens of deaths, including the former businessman Roman Sionis, who died from blunt force trauma to the head and a stab wound to the neck…"

*This man is flaunting his power.*

Hearing movement behind him, Atreus turned to see Black Canary's pale face. He knew that, at this point, anything he said would scare her.

"Don't be afraid, I'm generous. You've probably read my file. I reward those who are loyal and respectful. Of course, enemies are an exception."

Recalling the information she'd read on Atreus before the mission, Dinah couldn't be sure if this man was involved in criminal activities. At least, on the surface, he seemed much better than Black Mask.

She hesitantly asked, "If possible, could I have two bodyguards accompany me to gather some things from my place? I might need a day or two to take care of family matters before I start work."

"Sure. If you're worried about your sister, Sara Lance, you can bring her here as well." Atreus casually opened a box containing five stacks of cash: "This is your reward for the information you gave me on Black Mask. You can use it to get yourself something nice."

Seeing the fifty thousand dollars of 'moving money,' Black Canary felt much better. It was a sign that Atreus wouldn't betray her. For people in Gotham's slums, even a fraction of that amount would drive someone to madness.

"Thank you for your generosity, boss. I'll be on my way now."

"Go ahead." Atreus opened his communicator to inform Louis about her.

Watching Black Canary's swaying figure as she left, Atreus felt a twinge of desire. But he hadn't forgotten that Wonder Woman was still nearby.

Black Canary was a well-known hero in the DC Universe. If he forced himself on her, she likely wouldn't resist. But losing 'morality points' and 4ngering Wonder Woman wouldn't be worth it.
