I am on the phone with day, really nervous.
"Of course not. I was wondering if you had forgotten about me. But yes, I will gladly help you with your makeover," his cheery voice makes me smile.
"Well, I want to start as soon as possible. I think I am way overdue," I take in the city lights, as I lean over the balcony railing. The city lights act like stars at night, making the view breathtaking.
"Want to impress someone in particular?"
"Please stop teasing me, if I start thinking too hard about it, I will chicken out," I chuckle, looking inside the open double doors. I miss Liam, I want him to come home.
Ever since he told me to go to him, I have decided that it's time I upped my game. I am a country bumpkin, looking like one too, and with a new life comes a new look. That's why I have asked day with his help.
