The sound of the television filled the room, and so did Sophia's chatter as she watched a stand-up comedy show. For a moment she seemed to forget all her worries. She felt like she was truly free, however, a knock on the door brought her back.
Knock! Knock!
Sophia reluctantly went to open the door because she was enjoying the show.
"Good morning," Vera said, walking into Sophia's room.
"Good morning, Mrs Vera; how was your night?" Sophia asked politely.
"It was splendid," Vera replied. "But something did bother me and I wish to know."
Sophia's expression turned curious. "And what could that be?" she asked, her voice etched with intrigue.
"Well... I wondered where my son got you from." Vera said. "You know, we didn't have time to get to know each other better last night."
Sophia chuckled lightly. "Well... Umm… I'm not from around here." She said.
