Chapter 1 - The prophecy

Once lived a faraway world called Vichanese, where an unrighteous king named King Hei Long ruled. King Hei Long married seven hundred wives and had five hundred concubines. He fathered seven hundred sons and five hundred daughters. The kingdom was marred by corruption and immorality, as some of his sons engaged in incestuous relationships with their sisters, while others committed the unspeakable act of sleeping with their own mothers. This moral decay spread throughout the kingdom, leading to widespread chaos, suffering, and the eventual downfall of Vichanese as the king's tyranny and depravity took their toll on the once prosperous land, King Hei Long's reign was marked by chaos and moral decay. His insatiable desire for power led him to amass an overwhelming harem, creating a tangled web of relationships that undermined the very fabric of the kingdom. The royal palace, once a symbol of prosperity, had become a breeding ground for jealousy, betrayal, and strife.

As his numerous offspring grew, the lines between loyalty and rivalry blurred. Sons plotted against brothers, while daughters conspired with their mothers to gain favor in the king's eyes. The kingdom was rife with scandal, as whispers of forbidden romances and treachery echoed through the halls.

Amidst this turmoil, a wise sage named Eldrin entered the scene. He had long watched over Vichanese, and sensing the kingdom's impending doom, he sought an audience with King Hei Long. Eldrin warned him of the consequences of his actions—the unraveling of a once-thriving civilization. He spoke of the importance of unity, integrity, and the need to mend the broken bonds among the royal family.

But King Hei Long, blinded by arrogance and power, dismissed Eldrin's counsel. He believed that his wealth and status could shield him from the consequences of his unrighteousness. The sage, undeterred, decided to take matters into his own hands. He embarked on a quest to unite the scattered hearts of the people, seeking allies among the disillusioned citizens of Vichanese.

One day, God Ziol came to the king in a dream and said, "Hei Long, if you do not change your evil ways, I will make you change them in a difficult manner." The king, startled by the divine warning, woke with a start, troubled by the message. He considered the gravity of the words and the consequences of his actions. Yet, despite the forewarning, he remained resolute in his wicked ways.

Days turned into months, and the king's tyranny grew more oppressive. His subjects suffered under his rule, and the kingdom began to crumble. One night, God Ziol appeared once more in the king's dream. This time, His presence was even more formidable, and the king could feel an overwhelming sense of dread. "The time has come," God Ziol declared, "for you to face the consequences of your actions."

But the king was stubborn and he didn't change a thing, so God Ziol said to Goddess Chareal, "Goddess Chareal, we have tried everything to make this king change his ways. What do you suggest we should do?"

Goddess Chareal replied, "We will send a boy who will challenge the king and bring him down. This boy will come from his own household, and through his actions, he will inspire others to follow a better path."

And so, a plan was set in motion. The boy was raised in the king's household, unbeknownst to the king, and as he grew, his wisdom and virtue began to shine. His influence gradually changed the hearts of those around him, and the king, seeing the transformation and the respect this boy garnered, was eventually moved to reflect on his own life. This divine intervention began a ripple effect that led to a profound change in the kingdom. God Ziol said to Priest Cheng, "Cheng, go and deliver this message to King Ziol: someone from his own household will be the one to challenge and ultimately bring him down. This prophecy will set into motion the events that will lead to a profound change."
