In another part of the city, a tall building stood its ground. J Corps.
At this moment inside the meeting room, every worker was sweating beads although the temperature in the meeting room are the lowest.
At the front of the meeting table was a handsome man, as if god spend their leisure time to sculpture this man's face. His cold eyes scanned every person sitting at the meeting table. And not one person looked up to meet the man's eyes.
And that handsome man name was Logan Jones.
Right now, Logan was in a foul mood when he enters the meeting room. All the workers not even done the assignment regarding the contract between J Corps and KBTS Corps. The chairman of KBTS Entertainment try to have a one on one meeting with him and Logan dislikes the idea on having a meeting with her. The chairman of KBTS Entertainment was Layla Kelsey and she kept on pestering him when clearly he already shown that he hate her 'intimate' act.
"I gave all of you one assignment. Only ONE assignment but you all don't even done it right." Logan said that coldly.
All the workers in the meeting room wouldn't dare met his eyes or speak it out loud. All of their throat felt dry for some reason.
"Why the chairman of KBTS Entertainment still want to have a meeting with me at 2 pm? I thought the contract already have been terminated two days ago. So why would she want to have a meeting with me?" Logan glared at the director in the meeting room.
"CEO Jones, why would you want to have the contract been terminated? KBTS Entertainment have been our loyal ones since you take over the company. I think it's better for the company if the contract extended more." One of the director spoke.
Logan sighing watching this old director. Logan want to fire some of the old fart because he already knows who is loyal to him and who is not. All he need now was the right timing to fire those old fart.
"Is that how you see it Director Kelsey? Are you trying to talk me out of it about the termination of the contract when you clearly does not know what your daughter have done." Logan looked at director Kelsey with cold eyes and intimidated aura.
Director Kelsey knows that this situation are dangerous now so he thought 'what kind of trouble that my daughter have done this time?' the director wouldn't dare to speak.
"CEO Jones, at least tell us the reason why you want to terminate the contract." director Kelsey spoke again.
All of the director looked at director Kelsey for having the courage to talk like that to that cold boss.
Logan chuckled and smiled dangerously with his cold eyes. "Well said this to that daughter of yours 'you dare touch what is mine' " replied Logan.
"....." The director was speechless.
'Touch what is his? Is it?!' The director ponder.
Director Kelsey was clueless at first but he realized something 'no way....she couldn't be....damn it!'
"But CEO Jones - " he got interrupted by a phone call.
Suddenly there's a call in the meeting room. Everyone looks at the direction of the ringtone and shocked. The ringtone belongs to that ruthless boss.
'Why the boss didn't silence his phone? Usually he would silence it.'
Logan pick up the call and silence for a moment. Then " The meeting end now. Don't forget what I just said." Logan goes outside with his assistant.
Director Kelsey was in daze. He couldn't believe that the daughter of his doing such a thing. 'She already know that. So why she done it? Damn it! I'm done for....'

Outside the meeting room....
"Get the car ready" said Logan to his assistant.
"Yes sir." his assistant replied.

Outside of the building...
Logan get inside the car with his assistant driving.
"Where to sir?" His assistant, Michael ask.
"Hospital" replied Logan.

Hospital....
Logan got out of the car and enter the hospital. He just received a call from the nurse that his wife has awake from a month long coma. He rushed in to his wife room but before he enter, the doctor stopped him and ask him to go to his office first before meet with his wife.
In the doctor office...
"My name is doctor Alex and I'm the one who's in charge with your wife, Mia Heather." the doctor introduces himself first to Logan.
Logan looked at the doctor and spoke. "What's wrong with my wife, doctor? Is she okay?"
Doctor Alex stayed silent at the moment and response back to Logan.
"Mrs Jones having an amnesia at the moment but you don't have to worry because amnesia mostly temporary most cases." replied the doctor. He looked at Logan to see his reaction and continued to diagnosed "Mr Jones, the amnesia may be due to the car accident that she had where she injures her head and cause her to have an amnesia. All you need to do just to have patience and don't add any stress on your wife. Don't rush her to remember everything." stated the doctor.
Logan was speechless. 'Amnesia?' Logan sighing and replied back "Thank you doctor, can I see my wife now?"
"Yes you can." doctor Alex replied.
Logan get out of the office and process everything what he just heard from the doctor. 'Amnesia? Mia has an amnesia? so she don't remember me?' Logan sighing again with a pain expression.
Before Logan could get inside the room, he heard a muffled sound. 'What is that noise?'
He opened the door slowly and found his wife crying while cursing.
