My hand quivered as I picked up my phone from the floor. I read the messages, as new messages started trooping in.
I watched the video and went through the images. My heart shattered as I screamed in my mind.
Jonathan would never do such?
"Do you still want to stay with such a man?" I read the message loudly, and switched off my phone, shutting my eyes as my brain tried to digest all the messages I just read.
I heard the sound of the door unlocking, and my eyes flickered open. I held my phone and started walking towards Marion's room.
I got inside his room and shut the door behind me. "Mom!" Marion called, waving at me. I smiled faintly at him, holding onto my phone tighter.
"Dinner is ready," I uttered and sluggishly stepped out of his room, bumping into Jonathan.
He had this soft and calm expression that gave me cold blood, sending thrills down my spine. Is the smile and calmness just a facade underneath his true personality?
