As the sun rose over the forest, a heavy feeling hung in the air. I could sense it, and so could my pack. There was something—or someone—lurking out there, hidden in the shadows, waiting for the right moment to strike. Ever since the eclipse, strange things had been happening, and I couldn't shake the feeling that we were being watched.
I gathered my pack around the meeting circle. Zara, Marcus, and a few others stood close, their faces showing the same worry that I felt. We had to uncover who or what was behind all the mysterious events that had been happening. It was time to face our enemy, but first, we needed to know exactly who that enemy was.
"Everyone," I began, trying to keep my voice calm and steady, "we all know there's a new threat out there. We don't fully understand it yet, but we can't just wait around and hope it goes away. We need to learn who's behind this and why they're doing it."
