"Arthur, Chronos. It's time you start heading out and forging yourselves."
"Kagekawa, thank you." Arthur walked off carrying a bag on his back filled with a large amount of supplies. Chronos looked up at Kagekawa and then hugged his leg. Kagekawa patted his head, scruffing his hair.
"Go now. Become a strong God the next time I see you. Haha!"
Chronos nodded his head, a little sad about leaving Kagekawa. He hurriedly chased after Arthur, who didn't wait for him.
"We left but I have no idea where to even start." Arthur was unsure of what he should do next.
"Let's go to the guild!"
"The guild? Ah! You haven't registered, have you?"
"No...I haven't ever been on a quest before."
They walked at their own pace to the adventurer's guild. Then they caught a horse-driven carriage going back to Arthur's town.
"Chronos. I know I said I wouldn't pry. Don't answer if you don't want to, but why do you seek revenge against the Gods? A boy your ag-"
"-They murdered the people I care about." His teeth gritted. Chronos's eyes were full of anger, remembering his past. A boy so young harboured such intense emotions. No child should ever feel the need to kill. To feel the need to carry out such acts. However, Chronos did and it was the fault of the Gods.
Arthur became angry but hid his emotions. Thoroughly suppressing this emotion. He didn't know why. His good heart? His sympathy invoked his rooted rage. Was it the God's committing sins? No, it was this world. The gods ultimately controlled this world, and they had done such a terrible act towards this child. Towards another God.
The sinful acts in this world and those who control it were disgusting to Arthur. "The gods...I don't know much about them. It's beyond me. There are good gods and bad gods. Either way, it's not my problem..." he didn't truly say what he felt.

"Ah! Here we are at the adventurer's guild, just go up to the counter and fill out the registration form the nice lady gives you."He pointed at the beautiful, red-haired lady.
Chronos walked up to the counter. His head just barely poked above it. "I'd like to apply to be an adventurer!"
The stunning lady looked over the counter.
"Omigoshh! You're such a cutie!" Chronos was picked up by the stunning lady, his face was pressed against her chest.
"Unhand me human!" However, Chronos was ignored and lacked the strength to do anything about it. His face started to become red as he was suffocating.
All the adventurers looked at Chronos. They all thought the same thing. "Lucky..."
Two rather big individuals walked up to Arthur, wearing a scary-looking face.
Chronos looked at Arthur worried.
One of them walked to Arthur's side...
"Arthur! How have you been?! We haven't seen you in so long. Haha! Come have a drink with us!" One of the barbarians exclaimed as he wrapped his arm around his neck. "Arthur, come sit down! Let's have a drink! Haha!" Chronos felt a sigh of relief, seeing the friendly faces of the barbarians.
It was as if the barbarians only knew how to say one sentence, "Let's have a drink!" The word drink made Arthur feel sick.
"Never." Arthur was adamant about never drinking ever.
"Come now, we haven't seen you in so long."
Chronos ran up to Arthur. "I'm a full-fledged adventurer now!" Chronos smirked as he held his adventurer's card up. Arthur gave a little smile. "I see."
The barbarians shouted, raising their mugs.
"Arthur! He reminds me of you when you were just a little kid. Haha! Wait a sec...Arthur. Is that...your kid?!!?"
"Huh."
The barbarian slapped Arthur on the back with tears in his eyes. "Arthur...I'm so...I'm so proud of you!" He wiped away his tears. "To think you're finally a man now!"
"No that ain't my kid!"
"Papa's not my papa..?" Chronos had looked at Arthur innocently. Then he began to shed fake tears.
"Hah?! Chronos what are you sa-"
The barbarians looked angrily at Arthur. "Oi Arthur, don't run away from your responsibilities, goddammit!"
Arthur was surrounded by the barbarians, putting his hands up. He could just about see Chronos. Chronos slyly gave a wink and stuck his tongue out.
"Oi...Chronos." Arthur looked at him furiously.
"Arthur! Don't show your kid such a threatening glare like that!" All the barbarians threw Arthur out of the guild. "Good for nothing father!" They all gave Arthur a disgusted and disappointed glare. Then shut the doors.
"HAHHH?!?"
Chronos then walked out the doors. "Papa?"
"AAAAAAH! Shut the hell up already kid! You ruined my...my..reputation" Arthur looked at the ground, sulking.
Chronos couldn't hold his laughter in anymore. "PFT!! Ah..sorry. I couldn't help it. Anyways, I thought it'd be best to pose as your kid."
"My whole life is ruined!" Arthur ruffled his hair. "Forget about it now. The damage has been done. Let's just figure out what to do next."
