Chapter 13 - The Audacity of A Servant

Once again, Bramasti feels the urge from within. Just having an orgasm because of an illusion isn't enough to make him satisfied. And so, he starts thinking about actually getting the warmth of Arkadevi's body.

As Arkadevi collects the wet clothes and puts them into the wooden basket, she is aghast to suddenly find Bramasti standing right in front of her. She is so shocked that the basket drops along with all the clothes.

"What are you doing here?" She asks coldly, with an expression of discomfort written in her face.

Bramasti smiles awkwardly and helps putting all the wet clothes into the basket. "I was just wondering why Adanu Raksa was left alone, so I tried to look for you. I was afraid something might happen."

He then offers to carry the wet clothes, and tries to ease the tension as he accompanies Arkadevi back to her house.

Thinking that he is going to be able to build some good mood, he even helps Arkadevi to hang the clothes on the clothesline at the backyard of Arkadevi's house. But still, Arkadevi treats him coldly.

"You shouldn't be here," she says.

"Why? I didn't do anything wrong, I believe," Bramasti argues.

"You know this place is quite remote from the other villagers' house, and my husband isn't at home right now. People will think badly of me if they find me to be alone with you here," explains Arkadevi with a discontent look in her eyes.

"That's why I'm here," replies Bramasti with a meaningful glance. "Haven't you gone tired already, to be left alone like this for years?"

"You?!" Arkadevi looks so offended.

"I know Rangkabhumi rarely comes home. He cares about the fortress more than his wife. Why the need to be so fixated on someone like him, while I'm always here," Bramasti teases, taking a few steps closer to Arkadevi.

But Arkadevi is not a naive woman. She has long been suspicious of Bramasti's intentions for always visiting her house so often while her husband isn't at home.

She rushes to finish her job, intending to get away from that man. "Don't even think about it. Even if I weren't Rangkabhumi's wife, I still wouldn't accept a man like you."

Bramasti grabs Arkadevi's hand, preventing her from hanging the wet clothes onto the clothesline.

"A man like me? What's wrong with a man like me? Stop treating me like I'm lower than you. Just because you were once a maid at the royal palace didn't make you one of the nobles."

Arkadevi simply spits in his face. "Rangkabhumi has been treating you so well, yet you still dare to approach me like this. That's how low you are."

"So what?" Bramasti licks the saliva that Arkadevi has spit at him. He then pulls Arkadevi's hand, while his other hand wraps around Arkadevi's hip.

"Let me go!" Arkadevi retaliates, but finds unable to free herself from Bramasti's grip.

"Rangkabhumi treats me so well," utters Bramasti with an evil smirk. "But has he been treating you any better? Shouldn't you deserve more than me? Don't you feel alone? When was the last time he kissed your crotch and made you feel good?"

"Watch your mouth! I'm quite close to Prabu Jayantaka. I can report you to the king for treating me this way," Arkadevi threatens.

It's such a serious threat. But sadly, Bramasti has already had a boner, no longer in a state to control his common sense. He simply kisses Arkadevi's soft pink lips, and forces his tongue into the woman's mouth.

Arkadevi tries to retaliate as best as she could, until at one point, they both fall to the ground with one long cloth ensnaring them. It makes Arkadevi even more unable to get away from that man.

"Help! Someone! Help me!"

And…

Tung!

Bramasti gets hit by something dull in his head. He pulls the cloth to get his head out, intending to see who hit him just now. And again…

Tung!!!

"Get away from my mom!"

Bramasti is petrified, to find the young Adanu Raksa while he is in that situation with Arkadevi. But oddly, Adanu Raksa is now looking confused and a bit guilty after hitting his teacher's head.

"Uh, Uncle Bramasti? What are you doing here?" he asks naively.

"Oh, no! I was just helping your mom with the clothes, and…" Bramasti immediately gets away from that long cloth and puts on his innocent face. "I saw your mom losing her balance and I caught her before she fell."

Arkadevi doesn't say a word and starts tidying the wet clothes. She hopes the young Adanu Raksa won't think any bad thing. It's too early for him to learn about that dirty stuff.

"Your father will be home tomorrow. So we have to prepare for his coming," utters Arkadevi.

"Father is coming home? Really?" Adanu Raksa looks excitedly.

Arkadevi then glares at Bramasti with a serious stare. "Yes, he is going to come home tomorrow!"

Bramasti openly shows his indifferent face. He knows that Rangkabhumi won't be able to come home anytime soon, because right now, they are being threatened by the Galuguh armies from the east, and Rangkabhumi has to stay at the fort to protect the border.

As Rangkabhumi's trusted confidant, of course he knows a lot about all this information. He is not a soldier, but Rangkabhumi always trusts him as a messenger.

Even after getting such a threat from Arkadevi, Bramasti still has the nerve to show his face to Rangkabhumi the next morning.

"Bramasti! You are back?" Rangkabhumi greets warmly, as he is busy with the other soldiers in checking on the condition of the fortress. "What about Adanu Raksa? Has he been able to hit you?"

"Hit me? Heh! It's too soon for a kid like him. He couldn't even hold his stick properly."

That's what he said. Yet, he walks away while rubbing a part of his head which has been swollen because of Adanu Raksa.

"Damn! Why is it still so hurt?" He grumbles with an annoyed face.

On the other hand, a scout soldier is seen approaching the fort on his horse. He looks so weary because of the potential danger he has just seen.

"General! General Rangkabhumi!!!"

Rangkabhumi and the other soldiers rush to him. While the horse is still running quite wild, that one soldier gets down from the horse.

"Galuguh has moved their troops. They will reach here by tomorrow before the sun sets," he informs.

"How big their troops?" Rangkabhumi inquires.

"About 100 horsemen and 700 infantry are already on march, and I also saw them preparing 3000 soldiers at their border."
