Chapter 14 - 14. Announcement

At the higher end of the Grand Cathedral, the Prophet sat, his devil mask adorned with a golden star at the top corner.

His presence commanded attention without exerting pressure, a paradox that intrigued and reassured those present.

At the lower end of the table, the Grandmaster, the only Tier 12 High God of the Truth Order, wore his mask marked with six stars.

His aura was the complete opposite of the Prophet's, heavy and suffocating, making those nearby feel breathless under its weight.

Flanking the Prophet were four Archons, powerful Tier 11 Gods, while the remaining ten seats were occupied by Demigods.

They communicated silently through telepathy, their expressions a mix of curiosity and respect.

As the atmosphere settled, the Prophet spoke, his voice clear and resonant, "It has been a long century since our last meeting. Is everyone well?"

A moment of silence hung in the air before the Grandmaster responded, "I am well, and I trust the others are as well, oh Prophet."

His tone was filled with reverence, and others nodded in agreement, acknowledging the Prophet's presence.

Seeing their reactions, the Prophet removed his mask, prompting the assembled members to gaze at him eagerly.

No one could remember his face after their first encounter, a mystery that intensified their desire to study his features.

Behind the mask was the otherworldly visage of a young man, appearing no older than twenty.

However, today his expression carried a hint of seriousness that deepened the solemnity of the gathering.

"I have an announcement to make," he continued, his tone turning grave.

"In the coming days, outsiders will be arriving in the Grand Magus World."

He paused, letting the implications of his words settle in, before adding, "With them may come a new system of power. I do not wish to elaborate on their motives, but I ask everyone here to relay my message:

If they want they can use their system of powers but they can't divulge any information about truth order to them if they wish to remain part of the Truth Order."

The gravity of his words weighed heavily in the cathedral.

"They bring with them a power that is easily obtainable but at a higher price. I trust no one here will force me to take action personally to contain these extraterrestrial threats beyond the reach of our world."

With that, the Prophet vanished from his seat, leaving an air of tension and anticipation.

After a moment of deliberation, the Grandmaster stood, his voice firm.

"The Prophet's decision to convene this meeting speaks volumes about the impending crisis. I believe that we must all make the right choices, remembering what we have gained by joining the Truth Order."

His gaze swept over the assembly.

"Because there is no need for the Prophet to take action, I will personally deal with any deserters."

With resolute determination, the Grandmaster exited the cathedral, his powerful aura lingering as a reminder of his presence.

Outside, he found a gathering of around one hundred individuals—Captains, Marshals, and Commanders of the Truth Order—discussing recent developments in the Grand Magus World.

Feeling the oppressive pressure radiating from the Grandmaster, they saluted him with reverence, understanding the weight of authority he carried.

As he explained the intricacies of the situation, he could see their expressions shifting from curiosity to concern. After imparting the necessary information, he stepped out of the Grand Cathedral, leaving a trail of murmurs in his wake.

Inside the cathedral, a moment of silence followed the Prophet's announcement. One by one, the remaining members began to disappear, each offering a final salute to the statue of the Prophet that stood tall at the back of the hall, a solemn guardian of their convictions.

In the void, Lucas monitored the events unfolding in the Grand Magus World.

He sensed the ripples of tension as the Truth Order prepared to confront the impending threat.

The Prophet's foresight and the Grandmaster's unwavering resolve filled him with confidence that they would act in the best interests of their world.

Back in the Grand Cathedral, the Demigods, filled with newfound determination, communicated through telepathy. They understood the implications of the Prophet's warning and were ready to defend their realm against any encroaching powers.

As the last member vanished from the cathedral, the echoes of their departure lingered in the air, underscoring the weight of the decisions that lay ahead. Each member felt the pull of destiny, aware that their roles in the upcoming conflict would define not just their futures, but the very fate of the Grand Magus World.

Meanwhile, the *Ruler of Constellations*, in the cold void, watched with keen interest. "This world is just right for the ceremony," it mused, its voice a chilling whisper. "You can start the procession."

"Yes, Ruler," the eerie voice responded, signaling the start of a dark and ominous chapter.

As the stars aligned, the forces from beyond the Grand Magus World prepared to unveil their power, setting the stage for a confrontation that would test the limits of loyalty, strength, and the very essence of what it meant to belong to the Truth Order.
