Mr Robinson became silent for a moment at his end of the phone but not for long. He thought about the most suitable manner in which he could mete out some punishment to Mike for always talking against him but he just decided to keep his composure first.
He had to keep his anger in check knowing it could ruin things for him as he had already promised mr Davis, Kiara's grandfather that he would make sure that Mike attends the meet between the soon-to-be-married couples.
He cleared his throat as he calmed his nerves and got ready to address Mike again, but calmly this time.
"I wish it's not when I am about to say something important that you are trying to play hard to me, I just wish it was some other time and not now. I would have torn you into pieces for what you have just said."
