"Ruddy's not just targeting us publicly," David said, glancing up. "He's reaching out to our investors, trying to sway them with half-truths and lies."
Mike's jaw tightened. "What exactly is he saying?"
"Just that you're not fit to lead the company due to family drama and your engagement being a sham," David replied. "He's playing dirty."
"Damn it," Mike growled, frustration evident in his tone. "We have to counteract this. We can't let him undermine our authority."
"Agreed," Kiara said, stepping forward. "We should gather all the evidence of our successes—the charity work, the business deals, everything. We can use that to show our commitment."
