Mr. Davis got off the phone with Mike's father and he was relieved with the outcome. Now he had a perfect response for his granddaughter which he knew would make her happy.
At least, he could do that for her since they had no choice but to have the wedding, then he had to do everything he could to make her comfortable in her marriage and also know her soon-to-be husband.
"I have to let her know now, I know she would have been waiting for feedback from me after I promised her to talk to Robinson." Mr. Davis said to himself as he got ready to leave his study and head to the living room where his wife and granddaughter were.
He then paused for a moment to reminisce on his actions and decisions so far. "I hope I am doing the right thing by giving my granddaughter out in marriage to seal a business contract."
"I really have no choice but I hope her deceased parents can understand the situation and forgive me did what is about to happen."
