Chu Feng drove behind the convoy, casting a sidelong glance at Xiao Pang then checking in the rearview mirror at a visibly uneasy Xi Yun. Wanting to liven up the atmosphere, he teased, "Seeing how protective you were of Xi Yun just now, don't tell me you have some sort of ulterior motive?"
"You... don't talk nonsense, I... I..." Xiao Pang's face turned red upon hearing Chu Feng's words, struggling to come up with a rebuttal. Yet the usually slick-tongued Xiao Pang found himself at a loss for words this time.
"Feeling so nervous... perhaps I hit the nail on the head?" Chu Feng said seriously as he looked at Xiao Pang, whose face was turning bright red.
"Xi Yun, our Xiao Pang is actually not bad at all. And you saw how, just now, he was about to bite that jerk to defend you," Chu Feng said casually to Xi Yun.
Xi Yun blushed slightly when she heard what Chu Feng said.
"You... you, stop making stuff up, I... I..." Xiao Pang stammered, unable to articulate a coherent response.
