Wei'er's mom said with gratitude.
After the nurse had hung the IV bag, she smiled and said, "It's alright. Take good care of him, and remember to take him to the hospital if his condition worsens."
"Okay."
Wei'er's mom knew her husband's character well; he just wanted to save money for the family. After all, hospital expenses were huge and not something an ordinary family could afford. There were too many examples where treating an illness had ruined a happy family.
"Mom, we've lost our house. Where are we going to live now?"
Xia Wei'er asked with some concern as she looked at the ruins.
Wei'er's mom thought for a moment and said, "Let's go back and live in the shop. Let your father recover properly. We have money now, don't we? Let's see if we can buy the shop."
The chubby guy quickly said with concern, "Auntie, why don't Ming and I take you back to Snack Street?"
"Thank you so much."
