Inside the maze, Tang Ming watched as Liu Mengting and Li Xiaoli argued in front of him. The two had clearly begun to insist on their own ideas after entering this new maze, especially since Liu Mengting had completely lost faith in Li Xiaoli's sense of direction and wouldn't let her lead any longer, for fear they wouldn't be able to find their way out of the maze all morning.
"Meng Meng sister, just trust me one last time, I'm sure I can lead us out," Li Xiaoli said once more, confident in her assertion.
Liu Mengting scoffed and said, "Xiaoli, it's not that sister doesn't trust you, but if you keep directing us, we won't get out of here by noon, right Tang Ming?"
Tang Ming couldn't be bothered to listen anymore, thinking that if someone wanted to harm Liu Mengting, the maze was indeed the perfect choice. It was better to get both of them out sooner rather than later, or the consequences could be severe.
