The next day, Luo Zheng closed the door and practiced Life-taking Needle in his room. The needles being too light, after half a day of hard practice, Luo Zheng could only throw them five meters away, barely nailing them into the wooden board. However, the precision and strength were far from adequate. Luo Zheng knew this required sufficient time and practice; it wasn't something that could be mastered overnight. Suddenly, he had an idea and ran to the storage to look for nails, which were heavier and easier to throw, so he took a large handful, removed the flat heads, and they looked like enlarged silver needles.
At dinner time, Luo Zheng, with his sore arms, came to the cafeteria to eat. After getting his meal, he found a spot where no one else was sitting. Just then, a figure drifted in and sat opposite him. Luo Zheng didn't mind and continued eating without lifting his head, since anybody could sit at any spot in the public cafeteria.
