The next morning, Wu Wei was woken up by Sun Yi's alarm clock.
Upon getting up, he saw Sun Yi was still deeply asleep.
A faint smile hung on her face, and drool trickled from the corner of her mouth, seemingly in the midst of a pleasant dream.
Wu Wei quickly reached out to turn off the alarm clock, wanting to let her sleep a bit longer.
At that moment, Sun Yi groggily opened her eyes, "Baby, did my alarm go off?"
"Yes, keep sleeping, it's okay."
Wu Wei gently patted her head.
"No, I need to get up."
As Sun Yi said this, she struggled to sit up and frowned, "I'm so tired, my body feels sore and aches as if it's falling apart."
"Is it that bad?"
"Yeah, I feel sore all over."
While speaking, Sun Yi struggled to move to the edge of the bed to get up.
As soon as her feet touched the floor, Sun Yi felt as though her legs weren't her own; they were so weak and soft she could barely exert any force, let alone stand steadily.
