"I was really just talking nonsense."
Even after returning to the villa, Qin Hao was still explaining about that mole, but Gu Xueqi kept her face taut, saying nothing, unwilling to listen to his explanation.
"What exactly do I have to do for you to believe me?" Qin Hao couldn't help but laugh and cry.
"Keep being my shield." Gu Xueqi finally spoke up.
Qin Hao was surprised and a bit puzzled.
"The people pursuing me aren't limited to Chu Ming, there are others, and I don't want to entangle with them. So, you'll help me block those people," Gu Xueqi stared at Qin Hao and paused before continuing, "Consider it the price for peeping at me."
Qin Hao was dumbfounded; when had he ever spied on her? It was just a coincidence that easily led to a misunderstanding.
Seeing Gu Xueqi with a look that demanded his agreement, Qin Hao felt a bit of a headache coming on but, after thinking it over, he eventually nodded and said, "Okay, I agree to your terms."
