Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: The Beautiful Vice Principal

```
Qin Hao, however, failed to notice that the beautiful woman's face was growing darker and darker.
"Qin Hao," the beauty suddenly shouted, startling him.
He looked up at her, dissatisfied, and said, "Classmate, how do you know my name? I don't know you."
Her expression was icy cold, her chest heaving with anger that Qin Hao had obviously provoked.
Zhang Chao, unable to restrain himself, rolled his eyes. This guy still hadn't realized what was happening; he was doomed.
"Classmate, why are you so angry? You should know that getting angry could make a woman age faster," Qin Hao kindly reminded her.
Gu Xueqi's gaze was sharp as a knife— if looks could kill, Qin Hao would probably have been dismembered by now. She said coldly, "Just to remind you of a few things, first, it's class time right now, and you were absent from the last lesson; second, I have no interest in you at all; third, I am the teacher you wanted to kick, not your classmate."
What the— Although Qin Hao had been quite indifferent, he froze upon hearing her words.
"One last point, I am the university's vice principal, named Gu Xueqi. You can call me Mr. Gu or Principal Gu. As for your behavior today, I think it's necessary for us to have a serious talk. After class, come to my office," Gu Xueqi said coldly.
Qin Hao nodded, feeling an urge to bang his head against the wall.
He felt that he must have been blind just now. Even if he wasn't blind, his brain must have malfunctioned for not realizing she was a teacher.
Even considering Zhang Chao's and other students' reactions in the class, he should have figured it out.
"Principal Gu, I..." Qin Hao raised his hand, trying to salvage the situation.
"Shut up, I don't want to hear you speak right now," Gu Xueqi said coldly.
Qin Hao obediently shut up. He still wanted to enjoy his wonderful university life, and offending the vice principal—who was also his mentor—was clearly not wise.
"Why didn't you tell me?" After Gu Xueqi went on stage, Qin Hao glared at Zhang Chao, asking in a low voice.
Zhang Chao looked wronged and whispered, "I gave you a signal with my eyes."
"That was a signal? I thought something was wrong with your eyes," Qin Hao said, speechless.
"Classmate Qin Hao, during my class, I hope you can remain quiet," Gu Xueqi's voice came.
Qin Hao clammed up, aware that a wise man does not fight when the odds are against him.
After class, Qin Hao intended to slip away with the crowd.
Clearly, that plan had failed; a voice stopped him, with Gu Xueqi staring at Qin Hao, a cold smile on her face.
Qin Hao really wanted to pretend he hadn't heard her, but thinking of the consequences, he decisively gave up on that idea.
"Teacher, I was just about to remind you to take me to the office," Qin Hao said calmly, making up an excuse on the spot.
Gu Xueqi choked on his words for a moment—this guy's skin was really too thick.
She snorted and walked ahead.
Qin Hao followed behind, his face a picture of misery.
Gu Xueqi's office wasn't isolated—it was a request of her own, not to create privileges because she had become a leader.
Two teachers were still there, a man and a woman, who revealed a pleasing smile when they saw Gu Xueqi walk in.
However, upon seeing Qin Hao, their expressions turned sour, full of disdain as if they were treating Qin Hao like trash, which made Qin Hao quite annoyed.
"Principal Gu, has this student done something wrong?" asked the male teacher, who was in his thirties, with a smile.
"He made a little mistake; I'm going to have a chat with him," said Gu Xueqi indifferently.
As the male teacher noticed Gu Xueqi paying attention to him, he became somewhat excited, knowing that usually Gu Xueqi rarely spoke, and engaging in conversation was a mark of respect.
He thought now would be a good time to show off in front of Gu Xueqi; perhaps she would take a fancy to him.
In this frame of mind, the male teacher said to Gu Xueqi, "Principal Gu, why bother yourself with this matter? I can talk to him. Even if he is scum, I can still educate him well."
Gu Xueqi frowned upon hearing the male teacher's words, clearly somewhat displeased.
But Qin Hao was not having any of it; he glared at the male teacher and retorted discontentedly, "You're the scum, your whole family is scum."
"You dare to insult someone?" The male teacher immediately became furious.
"To be a teacher and not uphold moral speech, such a person is hardly fit to teach. No wonder you would seek out prostitutes," Qin Hao said with distaste.
The male teacher's face changed as he glared at Qin Hao and shouted, "What nonsense are you spouting? I haven't done any such thing; don't slander me."
Then, he turned to Gu Xueqi, saying somewhat nervously, "Principal, please don't believe him. He's talking nonsense. Such scum shouldn't be allowed to stay at the school. He should be expelled."
"Oh, are you angry out of embarrassment, or just feeling guilty? You hardly have the authority to expel me," Qin Hao became angry as well, not caring who the other party was.
He hadn't laid a hand on anyone, which was already a display of restraint on his part. Otherwise, the male teacher would undoubtedly be lying on the floor by now.
As the male teacher was about to say something else, Gu Xueqi finally spoke up, "Enough, stop talking. Teachers Zhang and Zheng, you should go now. It's already past working hours. This is my student, and I will handle it myself."
There was a note of dissatisfaction in her voice. Whether the male teacher really had sought out prostitutes or not, his behavior today was not that of a qualified teacher.
The two teachers exchanged glances, realizing that Gu Xueqi was truly upset, and they dared not stay any longer, quickly making their exit.
Only the two of them were left in the office. Gu Xueqi's beautiful eyes were fixed on Qin Hao. She slightly furrowed her brows; this student was quite a handful, completely different from the ones she had encountered before.
Gu Xueqi was at a loss on how to guide Qin Hao. He was arrogant, but not in the same way a second-generation rich kid was entitled. Only when someone crossed his line would Qin Hao retaliate.
Qin Hao also knew how to be polite because if what he said about Teacher Zhang was true, then he was completely in the right.
This was a very complex student, for the first time making Gu Xueqi feel at a loss. Moreover instinct told her that Qin Hao was not afraid of her; the only reason he followed her was that she was a teacher.
After thinking for a long time, Gu Xueqi couldn't find an angle to educate Qin Hao.
"You're making it very difficult for me," Gu Xueqi murmured as she tapped on the desk.
"Let me go back; that would make it less difficult," Qin Hao said with a slight smile.
Gu Xueqi nodded and replied, "Okay, you can go back."
Qin Hao was momentarily taken aback but quickly recovered. His eyes circled Gu Xueqi's beautiful face, and he said with a mischievous smile, "Mr. Gu, you're truly beautiful."
After speaking, he turned around, opened the door, and left, leaving behind a speechless Gu Xueqi.
