She opened the door to the bathroom and splashed her face with cold water, trying to wake herself up.
Gazing at her bare face in the mirror, her skin was delicate and fair, her features delicate; everything was unchanged, but the expression in her eyes and her demeanor were drastically different from her former self.
The previously timid and cautious Qiao Suisui seemed to have grown up in an instant. Her gaze was bright and resolute, her brow relaxed and confident, and her expression was no longer one of appeasement, but one of calmness after enduring many trials.
