Alina's POV:
I was anxious about entering a new house and meeting new people. My palms were sweaty and my heart was racing as I tried to calm myself. I took deep breaths and tried to focus on the road ahead. As the car pulled up to the house, I took one last deep breath was ready to face whatever lay ahead.
Soon the car stopped in front of a huge gate. Guards opened the gate and we entered. There was Alpha Luciano who was standing there. I felt butterflies as I looked at him. He was wearing his business suit as always and was standing with his head high while his hands were in his pants pocket.
Mikasa stopped the car and the guards opened the door. I looked at Millie ans she was still
sleeping. Ohh god! This girl was a sleeping beauty.
"Millie, wake up!" I tried to wake her but she was too lazy to listen to my words.
Mikasa laughed on her state.
"Don't worry, Luna, I will take care of her." He said. "Please enter the house. Alpha is waiting for you." He said as he glanced at him.
I stepped out of the car and looked up at the huge mansion that was now my home. I felt a surge of excitement and
nervousness. I would be the luna of the Blood Moon pack.
I stepped towards Alpha Luciano who was waiting for me. My heart pounded heavily as he was also approaching me.
He came closer to me, making me uncomfortable. Why was he getting so close to me all of a sudden? "Good! You didn't try to run!" He whispered in my ear while his face was covered with a smile.
His hot breath sent shivers down my whole body.
My wolf felt excited as he got closer but I tried to ignore him.
His statement just turned my mood off. This was not what I was expecting from him. What did he think that I would run after signing a contract?
"I am the princess of the Silver
Moon Pack and I don't run from my responsibilities. You can trust me!" I said, getting furious.
"That's good. You are not like your father" He said while he was still close to my ear.
"What do you mean?" I asked, getting confused.
"Nothing" He said and moved away from me.
I didn't get what he said. Soon I felt cold hands around my waist and he pushed me towards him.
"What are you doing?" I said resisting and getting away from him but he only tightened his grip further.
"Just don't forget that you are my Luna and we have to pretend in front of the pack members that you are my mate." He whispered in my ear.
Then I realized that I was so stupid for thinking that he was finding ways to come close, but he was right, we had to pretend.
"Fine!" I said with a forced smile on my lips.
"Now let's go." He said as we stepped toward the entrance of the house. Then I glanced at Mikasa who was holding Millie in his arms. My friend was troubling him too much. I giggled on his state.
"Look straight Alina!" Alpha Luciano said coldly, making me flinch.
I took a deep breath and walked towards the entrance, holding Alpha Luciano's arm. It was my dream from childhood to walk like this with James. But instead I had to walk with
someone else.
As we approached the door, two guards in black uniforms saluted them and opened the door for them. I felt a pang of surprise and gratitude as I saw the respect in their eyes. I had never been treated like this before. Though I am the daughter of the Alpha still I didn't get such respect. I was ignored and neglected by my father. I had never felt valued or appreciated by anyone.
"I am happy Alina! This is the respect that we deserved. You are at the right place and sometimes accidents and coincidences happen for a good reason." Sophia said as she was feeling the power and recognition that she craved for so long.
He smiled at me reassuringly and squeezed my hand gently as we entered. All the pack members, even the servants, bowed their heads. While he was walking proudly and power was reflecting from him. I Smiled back at him and followed him inside. As we walked through the hallways, I saw more guards and pack members who greeted us with respect and admiration. I tried to smile throughout the hallway. I also heard whispers of praise and awe as we passed by.
"Ohh! She's our luna."
"She's so beautiful."
" ya! She's so lucky."
I felt a warm glow in my chest as I heard those words. I felt power coursing through my veins as I sensed their loyalty and love. I felt happy and content even though I knew that it was all fake. I didn't belong here but for now I was happy.
"It seems pack members liked you!" He said.
My cheeks turned red on his statement. But where was he taking me? I thought to myself.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked.
"I am taking you to your room"! He replied.
We walked along the long and narrow hallway. It was dimly lit by a few candles that flickered on the walls. The floor was covered with a red carpet that muffled our footsteps. The walls were decorated with paintings of people I didn't recognize. They all looked stern and proud.
"You can let go of my hand now," he said and I quickly pulled my hand away from his arm.
"Until and unless there is no one around, we don't have to act or stick close to each other," he said with a flat expression.
I felt a pang of irritation. I wasn't even interested in holding him if he thought so. I thought to myself and followed him at a distance.
Luciano stopped in front of a room that stood out from the rest.
The door was made of gold and had intricate carvings of flowers and animals. It had a smooth finish that reflected the light. It looked expensive and elegant.
As we entered the room.I couldn't take my eyes off the room. It was magnificent. The walls were painted in a rich crimson color that matched the velvet curtains and the bedspread. The furniture was made of dark wood and carved with intricate patterns.
The chandelier sparkled with dozens of candles that cast a warm glow over everything. The room smelled like roses and vanilla, and I could hear soft music playing from somewhere.
I was so lost in admiration that I didn't notice Luciano was watching me intently. When I finally met his gaze, I felt a jolt of electricity run through me. I quickly looked away and pretended to be interested in a painting on the wall.
