Sebastian took a deep breath, pinching the bridge of his nose as if trying to gather patience. "Are you my little sister or Miss Lilith's sister?" he asked, his voice low and controlled.
Rose, still clinging to Lilith's arm, answered without hesitation. "Of course, Sister Lilith's little sister," she said sweetly, nuzzling closer to Lilith.
Lilith laughed softly, brushing Rose's hair with her fingers. "That means sir is like my brother too, right?" she teased, her eyes flicking toward Sebastian with a playful glint.
Sebastian's expression darkened instantly. He shook his head firmly. "No," he said, his tone sharp and immediate.
Brother? Absolutely not.
Rose giggled, pointing at him. "Brother is stingy," she pouted dramatically, tilting her head at Lilith as if expecting support.
Sebastian's gaze narrowed as he sent Rose a warning glare, but the little girl only stuck out her tongue playfully.
