"And you said it was an intense romantic movie," Ava said with a flat tone, her arms crossed as she stared at the animated children's movie on the big screen.
Rose, sitting beside her, shot a look at her brother, narrowing her eyes before rolling them dramatically. She leaned back, sulking a little but still watching the princess on screen with mild interest.
Ava, despite her initial disappointment, was giggling at some of the cute moments, enjoying the colorful animation. Nova, however, was a different story. He sat slumped in his seat, his face twisted in embarrassment as he watched the overly cheerful scenes of princesses and princes dancing.
"This is so not my vibe," Nova muttered under his breath, looking like he wanted to melt into the chair.
Unable to take it anymore, he glanced to his left, where Sebastian sat next to him. Surely, the boss feels as uncomfortable as I do, Nova thought.
