As I waited at the eatery for Derek, my mind was still racing. I trust that Richard would be safe with Arlo, I just didn't understand why I was so sad. I hoped Arlo would just change his mind and ask for my help.
Something in me began to realize that I hated waiting. I didn't like what it does for me, how it made my stomach churned, or my heart beating, or why it's making me have these crazy depressing thoughts in my head!
I was getting impatient that I brought out my phone with the attempt of dialing Derek's number, only for me to see that he has walked in. Something seemed off about him. So wrong...
