Tara's POV
I saw Arlo muttering something angrily to himself as he picked up the phone. I could see him as I stepped outside to pick something from the fridge.
"I can't believe this." He said at last, out loud this time.
"What's wrong?" Richard asked. "You really have stopped swearing, that's nice of you."
He had on a blank stare on his face, but then I hit interested in Richard's statement. Arlo was really changing, so fast. He stopped hitting on ladies shamelessly and actually looks and acts responsible and mature. His swear language had completely stopped that I wondered how far he was willing to go to impress Richard and I.
I felt my heart break as I realize a glimpse of the pain he must have felt when we were over at the hotel. I did hurt him.
"...is so annoying. And embarrassing, I mean what is she doing here!" I heard him talking.
