Tara's POV
People were gathering around...from where even! It had just been Alice and I.
"You're creating a scene, Alice. Get out of my way." I said with urgency. I couldn't afford this embarrassment coming from her, and yet each time I tried to leave, she just kept blocking my path.
"You don't remember who I am, do you? I am the mother of the greatest law firm here. My son is Derek Marison! How dare this filthy rag speak to us in that manner. Huh!"
"Wow, is that true ma'am?" Someone said from behind. She was standing with another lady who quickly seemed invested in the scene. They both had flashy blonde hair with heavy makeup.
"If that's true, then maybe you need to apologize, miss. Let's call the staff here!" The other blondie said.
"You're not making any sense here, Alice. You'll regret this if you don't stop right now!." She didn't know who she was messing with. Sure Derek owned a company, but my law firm was bigger than Derek's!
