"Okay then, that's fine. She will settle in just fine, believe me." I told the lady before me. She was going to be my daughter's teacher and she's only trying to protect Nina.
"I am still wondering why you would want to change her school so fast. Did something happen or --"
"You're asking too much questions. I want the best education for my daughter. What's your problem?" I was starting to get offended by all that many questions from her. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to overreact. It's just that, I've heard a lot about this school. And the legacy that one of the Hernandez owns the school, it just helps settles my mind more. I know how much he cared about children."
I didn't know shit. But still, I needed to come up with some excuse!
The lady frowned. "Is this about the law case that's going on with you and Mrs Hernandez? This is some kind of political game, isn't it?"
