At cloud nine, Luca entered the Dark Continent. In an instant, some great bird-like animals appeared and tried to attack him. Instantly, Luca snapped his fingers and crushed their bodies into dust. But he felt he couldn't see anything while floating in the air, and it would be better for him to stand on the ground. He jumped down, going further by walking.
As he walked, he suddenly felt a burst of strong aura. Urged by curiosity and the urge to hurry, he started to run towards it. There, he saw a colossal Naxon fighting a human. The Naxon was attacking enthusiastically, but the human dodged each blow with ease. Then, with a graceful spin, the human got into position and delivered a firm punch to the Naxon's stomach. The Naxon immediately turned into ashes.
Luca whispered in awe, "He's so strong."
The human's eyes met Luca's for but one fraction of a second. In that fraction of a second, however, the human was gone and reappeared behind Luca. The human suddenly lunged at him from behind without notice. Luca was quick to shout and put up a barrier around them in an attempt to see what was going on. Even so, the human's attack managed to break through it and land on Luca, flying backward.
The human appeared in front of Luca again, this time ready for an attack. Luca shouted, "WAIT!"
Still gasping, Luca shouted, "Stop! I'm a human."
This time, the human stopped mid-attack, frozen. Surprised, the human said, "A human face. I have forgotten what that looks like. Sorry." He reached out a hand to get Luca to his feet.
Luca took it and asked, "What's your name?"
The human answered, "My name is Kenji."
Kenji then said, "What are you doing here?"
Luca said, "I'm here to kill every last Naxon alive."
Kenji said, "That's a stupid idea. Why don't you just kill the king of the Naxons? If you do that, the Naxons will run away."
At this Luca froze, dumbfounded. "I didn't know that was possible?"
Kenji nodded. "Yes, it's possible. I have a lot of questions too."
Kenji said, "Let's go to my place where we can talk."
As they walked, Luca asked, "Do you live here?"
Kenji responded, "I do."
Luca asked, "Why?"
Kenji replied, "Because I have no choice."
Impatient, Kenji grabbed Luca and said, "I'm too impatient to walk. Hold on." Just as Luca had blinked, he found himself inside Kenji's underground home.
Luca, amazed, said, "How fast are you?"
Kenji grinned. "Pretty fast, kid."
He motioned for Luca to take a seat. Luca sat and Kenji gestured, "Ask me what you wish."
Luca shrugged. "Who are you?"
Kenji grinned. "I'm the hero. Or I was, once."
Luca frowned. "Really-the hero?"
Kenji nodded. "I was a hero."
Luca asked, "What happened to you?
Kenji's face showed seriousness, and then he said, "Long, long, long ago, before you were born, I and my group traveled to find the secrets of this world and the weakness of the Naxons. I was 18 when I found out that I was the chosen hero. A fortuneteller from the other side of the world told me that I was the first hero in over 200 years. Since then, I've been training and killing Naxons to get stronger. When I entered the Dark Continent, I could use up to 50% of my Symbiote's power. We spent a year and a half here, killing Naxons. Then we met what we thought was the last boss.
Luca: "The boss you said before?"
Kenji: "Yes, the boss. Big, strong, wings, horns, dark red eyes. We fought and defeated him, thinking we had won the war. And then he appeared."
Luca: "He?"
The body of Kenji shook as he replied, "Yes, he. He was like a man-like creature who suddenly appeared from nowhere. He raised his hand, and one by one, all my comrades were killed. He made me kneel and cursed me never to go out of this place. And since then, I have been bound within these walls for 35 years."
Kenji then told Luca, "You got to have guts to come here, little guy. How much of your Symbiote can you use?"
Luca replied, "I am able to use up to 40%."
Kenji's eyes widened in shock. "You can use up to 40%? You might be the chosen hero. You need to visit the fortune teller to find out for sure. Once you do, come back to me."
Kenji handed Luca a map and instructions. "You'll need at least six people with you-all Symbiote users-and a big boat. Be warned, the road to the fortune teller is filled with hazard."
Luca nodded, nervous but determined. Kenji relaxed and asked, "What's your power?"
Luca dithered for some time before revealing his symbiotes power instead told him about his own power, "My power is telekinesis."
Kenji got up, "Perfect. Let's go outside."
They went outside, and Kenji, lifting a huge boulder, threw it at Luca. Luca caught it with his telekinesis and threw it away.
Luca's eyes widened, saying, " you can use telekinesis?
Kenji said. "yes."
Kenji's body left the ground, and he was floating in the air smoothly.
Luca said, "H how are u flying"
Kenji said, "I knew you didn't know how to fly, You see, telekinesis is a force—essentially anti-gravity. Just imagine pushing your force to the ground."
As Luca focused, the ground beneath him began to shake. Small rocks shifted, and Luca's feet slowly lifted off the ground.
