Chapter 10 - Jasmine's Office

Next, Mister Ben Devis and Delvin were in Jasmine's office. Delvin's eyes were taking note of the set-up, the neatness, how well furnished the office was. On the table lay a gray laptop, a diary, pen, sunglasses and a lot of files stocked behind the beautiful figure.

Delvin's bulb went on, so your name is Jasmine. I find your name cute. You are my flower and I will not get bored smelling your sweet, addictive fragrance.

Delvin's eyes came back to Jasmine. Mister Ben Devis had just finished preparing himself to explain the reason why they had come to her office. He gathered his strength with difficulty and mumbled, 'I,' mister Ben Devis was cut short by a lovely serene tone that drove Delvin sane, 'No need, Mister Parker has already told me.'

She looked at Delvin with assertive, demanding eyes which meant business, but underneath, lay those of richness and authenticity. 'What things do you need, sir?'

Delvin jumped into the conversation with a smile, but his voice wore a work ethic, 'Three, two point five millimeters cables, red, black and green. Three, one point five millimeters cables, red, black and green. Three sockets, two single switches and two lamp holders and two bulbs.'

She gazed at him with admiration, splendor and tenderness, 'Is that all you need?' Delvin thought about the question earnestly, came up with a conclusion, 'Yes.'

Jasmine followed up with another question but now a bit open and it was out of curiosity, 'Do you know where we can get them from?'

Delvin followed her rhythm and vibe, 'Yes.'

Jasmine had thought it through.

This is an opportunity, I will not waste it, I should give him a chance to get to know me and I get to know him a little bit better.

Jasmine was thinking. What better way to interact than go shopping for electrical materials with him?

'I will drive you there, so that we can buy them.'

For Delvin this was a straight forward question.

Who would want to spend some quality time with a beauty like her?

'Alright.'

A cute smile followed after his words, though he did not show it that much on his face. For Jasmine's eyes were entirely on him, from the beginning of the conversation to this very point. He was fine with her suggestion. Jasmine had to make the next move. She needed to prepare, and could not do it in front of Delvin or Mister Ben.

'Mister Delvin, could you go wait for me in the VIP lounge, I will be there in five minutes. Mister Ben, please take him to the VIP lounge.'

She grinned broadly, dimples flashed out. It was quite intense for her speaking to the man she had a crush on, she did use a lot of courage and energy.

How cute! Your voice is electrifying, miss Jasmine. You are very intriguing.

Delvin grinned back at her, after a thought of praise had crossed his mind.

Jasmine almost lost her composure, blushed, and her head fell down shyly.

About five minutes later, Delvin was sitting cross-legged admiring the VIP lounge, when a sweet enchanting voice rang in his ears.

'Shall we go?'

Delvin quivered, for he did not see or hear her walk in. Just a sweet voice reverberated in his ears.

He instantly stood up, 'Sure. After you.'

Jasmine led the way. Delvin looked at her back affectionately. It was like he wanted to devour her right there.

What a fine specimen. I could do a thousand experiments with you.

Delvin's imagination did not rest that much, for it kept kicking on.

Jasmine had her own question when Delvin wondered in his imagination.

'The things we are going to buy, can fit they fit into this car?'

Delvin nodded first, though if you observed him closely, you could see the delay in his response, his charming voice came after.

'Yes, without doubt.'

A genuine smile glowed on Delvin, as he reached the car he paused, waiting for Jasmine to give him a signal to get into the car.

'Please get in.'

Jasmine signaled with her right hand, Delvin opened the car door, jumped in majestically, she got in too and the car engine ignited.

She reversed the car, the gate opened and then they drove off.

Inside the car, Delvin wanted to know more about Jasmine, since it was his first time with a beauty of such stature as her, he decided not to rush things, it was better to let her take the lead. Therefore, quietness was going to play a good role at this moment. Taking one step at a time, calmness sometimes speaks volumes. Maybe this could be amazing in his life.

On the other hand Jasmine thought of how to initiate a conversation. Right now there was silence, a strong edge bothered her, she ignored it, the pressure kept increasing within her uncontrollably, this pushed her to utter something that had just flashed in her mind, 'By the way, what are your full names sir?'

This was what Delvin had been waiting for, he smiled from within like a Cheshire cat, still, he had to follow her lead.

'Please call me Delvin, Delvin Dred, and you?'

He was looking at her, and continued to do so in order to see her reaction, which he did, she smiled at him, a serene atmosphere was building up gradually.

This hidden treasure had to be unwrapped, seeing what was inside was inevitable, but patience paid and, most importantly, Delvin's version was what was needed at that moment.

Jasmine was impressed by the rate at which Delvin was exploring her. He did not rush things, he was cool, very comfortable, she enjoyed his company.

'Jasmine Parker.'

She finally spoke with extreme confidence and pride, which Delvin did feel from the horror she released.

Delvin did not want to have an awkward moment, cooked up some stuff, 'You have a cute name.'

That one single sentence was good enough to charm her. She blushed, Delvin could see that clearly on her right cheek. Her eyes completely focused on the road ahead. Though she could glance at him from time to time through the rear mirror.

'Thank you, yours, too, is pretty cute and not common.'

Jasmine replied frantically, for she loved the conversation, then went on, 'Delvin, where exactly are we going to buy the materials from?'

The flow of their vibe, intriguing, the two are a match, it's like they could read each other's thoughts.

'At Volt-amp.'

Jasmine's cheeks moved slightly, her dimples much visible, a dim smile hung in the corner but he was hiding it.

'Without doubt I know that place very well.'

She gazed at him through the rear side mirror. She raised her hand and tugged her hair backward. And reviewed her neck and ears. A strong vibrant chill pierced Delvin, his lustful nature taking full control of his body but he held himself strongly, both Jasmine and Delvin listened to each other's thoughts and feelings at this moment.

'Delvin tell me about you?'

Jasmine tried to destruct her mind and drive of the bestial feelings that consumed them both. Delvin thought carefully before making a sound. He had to trade carefully, this was a big question, also a bit personal. She was digging into him.

'Well,' he gave her a beaming grin.

'As you can see, I don't come from a rich family. I grew up from an orphanage, went to a community school, then to Apex university and studied Electrical engineering. Later on, I added to my existing career Electronics Engineering. I got accepted at ZamCorp Base One. A day ago, and now I am here with you.'

He sighed and breathed out hot energy from within him. Jasmine became even more interested in the man next to her.

'Wow! You have had an interesting adventure. I sincerely admire you.'

Her face beamed and brightened. Delvin felt relieved, it was like Jasmine was dissecting him. Talking about oneself is not that easy. Pride welled up into Delvin's heart.

'Yes, I wouldn't trade my past for anything.'

Jasmine did not end up just there, 'ZamCorp is a huge corporation, you will definitely soar high. I will be cheering for you.'

Delvin tilted his head to look at her. She felt his hot gaze penetrate her soul, she jacked, glanced at him but retreated fast to face the road. Delvin took things lower, just to keep the atmosphere warm.

'How do you know that I will do well, when you just met me today?'

Jasmine chuckled, this was hilarious, but relevant.
