Chapter 1 - The School of Covert Operation

As Kaida Reed, aka Kae, scrolled through his admission letter on his laptop, he thought to himself, 'To be a King, you have to live like a King.' He reminisced about the stories his older brother shared about his high school experiences and thought, 'I need to make the most of my own high school life and enjoy every moment.' Just then, his mom burst into the room, calling out his name, 'Reed! Reed!' She saw him on his laptop and said, 'We're still on this, aren't we? You've got the admission letter. My little boy is all grown up, and I'm sure you'll make me proud, just like your brother did.

Kae felt a surge of guilt, thinking about his past mischievous behaviour, which his mom was unaware of. She continued, "Pack up your things; we leave tomorrow." Kae closed his laptop and gazed out the window at the vast cityscape, lost in thought.

Kae and his mom, Mrs. Kaida, arrived at the airport early. As a busy entrepreneur, Mrs. Kaida owned a bookstore and was a renowned writer, having received several local awards. Kae, on the other hand, idolized his father, a skilled footballer who had made a name for himself at a young age. Mr. Kaida had married Mrs. Kaida and they had two sons, Kaida Ed and Kaida "Kae" Reed. However, Mr. Kaida kept his family life private, making excuses to Mrs. Kaida, who eventually took him to court. This led to the revelation that the famous football star had a family, but the news didn't end there. A woman named Lloyd emerged on social media, claiming that Mr Kaida had another family with her, including a daughter. This scandal not only damaged Mr. Kaida's reputation but also ended his football career. As a result, Mr. and Mrs. Kaida separated, leaving Mrs. Kaida to care for their children.

Kae felt a mix of emotions as he prepared to leave home for the first time, unsure of what lay ahead. His mom, Mrs. Kaida, tried to reassure him, "Don't worry, everything will be okay!" misinterpreting the smile on his face. Kae replied, "No, Mom, I'm fine. I'll make you proud." Mrs. Kaida responded with enthusiasm, "I know you will!"

After a wait at the airport, Kae's plane was ready to depart. Mrs. Kaida had arranged for him to be transported to his new school, with all necessary documents already completed. She wouldn't be escorting him to his new school but had made sure everything was in place for a smooth transition.

After arriving safely, a taxi was waiting to take Kae to his new school. As they drove through the rainy streets of Los Angeles, Kae enjoyed the scenic views. However, the smooth ride soon slowed to a crawl, and the driver said, "This is unusual, there must be a traffic jam. Be patient, your school is nearby." Kae wasn't bothered by the delay, as he was taking in the sights of the city. That's when he spotted a girl, about his age, standing under the rain with a man who appeared to be her father. What caught his attention was that she wore the same school uniform he had been given. "Please stop the car," Kae requested. The driver asked, "What do you want to do outside? Can't you see it's raining heavily?"

Reed persistently asked the driver to stop, and just as they were about to pass the girl and her father, the driver pulled over, curious about Reed's intentions. Reed jumped out of the car and approached the girl's father, saying, "I'm headed to Beverly Hills Montessori School too. Would you and your daughter like to join us?" The man scrutinized Reed, sensing he didn't belong in this environment.

Los Angeles, a vast city, is renowned for its industry, filmmaking, and television production. However, the locals are unhappy about the chaos caused by these activities, which have led to numerous accidents, thefts, and kidnappings. Bandits have taken advantage of the situation, operating with impunity.

"Listen, kiddo, you should go," the girl's father said, rejecting Reed's offer. "These streets may look beautiful, but they're not safe for you or anyone else in that car. Don't worry about us, we'll find our way." Reed was left speechless for the first time in his life. He bid a silent goodbye to the girl and her father, then got back into the car, his clothes drenched from the rain. The car started moving, and soon they were out of sight.
