"Damn it, this can't go on! We need a plan!" E cursed, dodging a Dreadspinner's attack while swinging his mace in retaliation.
"Agreed. Any ideas?" Craig asked, his sword deflecting a tree root that snaked towards him.
"First, we take down the Dreadspinners. Then we can focus on the bigger threat," E said.
The rest of the group shared the same thought, but the question remained: how? They hadn't had a moment to breathe since the battle began. The tree root's incredible resilience and near-instantaneous regeneration made them a formidable foe, leaving the group no time for strategic maneuvering.
"What about the core?" Arthur suggested suddenly.
Everyone's eyes widened. Destroying the seed's core would open a portal back to the outside world. But how could they achieve that with the guardian still active? They had to try, though. They had no other choice in their desperate situation.
