Girls' Dormitory 309
Rice Noodle groaned in discomfort. "I'm so hungry, there's nothing to eat! What should I do?"
Hu Tuan'er replied, "I'll ask around and see if anyone has something we can borrow."
Rice Noodle sighed in frustration, "I guess that's our only option."
Hu Tuan'er opened her contact list and saw Mina's name, quickly sending her a message.
Meanwhile, in Dormitory 202, Mina was relaxing under the air conditioner, daydreaming about what might happen tomorrow.
"I wonder if Yuto Saito and I will get closer?" she thought. "Are the three girls around him all his love interests?"
Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a message notification. Picking up her phone, she saw a message from Hu Tuan'er:
"Sister Mina, do you have any food? Rice Noodle and I skipped dinner, and we're starving!"
Mina replied, "Just the two of you?"
Hu Tuan'er responded, "Yeah, it's just us!"
Mina wondered if their other two roommates had either turned into zombies or fled the school. The school had advised everyone to stay in their dorms, but without providing any food. Some brave students had ventured out in search of supplies, and others were headed to the shelter.
Mina messaged back, "Come over to my dorm. I'll give you something to eat."
Hu Tuan'er sent a teary-eyed emoji: "Sister Mina, you're the best! You're so kind and beautiful. We love you!"
Mina chuckled, "We're all sisters here. Come over with Rice Noodle, and we'll take care of you."
Hu Tuan'er replied, "On our way!"
Mina put down her phone and glanced at her roommates. Orange was meditating, using her enhanced hearing to gather information. Ruoruo leaned against her pillow, scrolling through the news on her phone. Meanwhile, Nako was busy messaging someone, though Mina had no idea who.
Suddenly, Orange opened her eyes. "There's a horde of zombies in the boys' dormitory."
The room fell silent.
Ruoruo's voice trembled, "Little Orange, don't scare us like that!"
Mina asked, "Are you sure? A whole horde?"
Orange nodded confidently. "At least thirty of them, but don't worry—they've already been taken care of."
Ruoruo let out a sigh of relief. "Who could have taken down that many zombies? Do you think it was the master?"
Orange smiled sweetly. "These weren't ordinary zombies. Their strength was comparable to that of first-order demon monkeys. Brother Xian could only handle two of them at once."
Mina speculated, "If I had to guess, it was probably Yuto Saito."
Orange nodded in agreement. "Yes, after they killed the zombies, they disappeared without a trace. I tried tracking them, but something blocked me, and the four of them vanished."
Nako chimed in, "They probably went beyond your maximum range."
Orange shrugged. "Maybe. Either way, I have no idea where they went."
Mina changed the subject. "By the way, I have two friends who are really hungry. They're coming over for some food."
Ruoruo smiled, "No problem. I'm meeting Yuto Saito tomorrow anyway, so I'm not too worried about food."
Orange stood up. "I'll grab some lychees and bread for them."
Mina added, "Nako, make sure we have enough for tomorrow. Whatever we have left, we'll give them."
Nako glanced at their supplies and nodded. "Let's give them two packs of instant noodles, two loaves of bread, two pounds of lychees, and six bananas."
Mina agreed. "Perfect."
A knock at the door interrupted them.
"It's open!" Mina called out.
Hu Tuan'er and Rice Noodle entered. Hu Tuan'er had long legs, a great figure, and a striking beauty. Rice Noodle, on the other hand, had a more innocent appearance but dressed daringly.
Mina smiled, "Tuan'er, Rice Noodle!"
"Sister Mina!" they chimed in unison.
Following Nako's instructions, Mina handed them the food.
Hu Tuan'er was touched. "Sister Mina, you're so good to us!"
Rice Noodle, her voice emotional, added, "Thank you to all the sisters in Dorm 202. We won't forget this kindness."
Mina smiled warmly. "It's nothing. Now go and eat before you starve."
The two girls left, smiling happily with their supplies.
Watching them leave, Mina thought, Yuto Saito seems to be building a team of women... Maybe I should introduce these two to him?
Mina decided she would meet with Yuto Saito first to see how things were progressing. It would be unwise to make promises without knowing the situation firsthand.
Boys' Dormitory – Top Floor
Cai Cheng cautiously said, "Master, the knocking has stopped."
Xian Moumou frowned. "Could the zombies be gone?"
Liang Fu speculated, "Maybe they were all killed?"
Hong Qi nodded, "I bet Brother Su has already been here. To be sure, Fu, call him and confirm."
Liang Fu agreed and quickly made the call. Once they had confirmation, the tension in the room eased.
Opening the door to the top floor, they found the corpses of zombies everywhere, each pierced by flying knives.
Xian Moumou was in awe. "No wonder we didn't notice anything. Brother Su's power has reached a terrifying level!"
Moments later, several military police cars arrived on campus, responding to a student's earlier call. The police had recently rebuilt their force after suffering heavy losses.
As the officers entered the boys' dormitory, they were stunned by the sight of the fallen zombies. After speaking with the students, they learned that the group responsible for killing the zombies was led by Yuto Saito.
Officer Song, leading the team, thought to himself, How great would it be if Yuto Saito joined the police force?
Wearing gloves, the officers carefully removed the zombies' bodies and loaded them onto military trucks for disposal to prevent any mutations.
On the floating island, Yuto Saito and his team observed everything from above.
Natto exclaimed, "Wow, we're watching them from up here, and they have no idea!"
Ni Shuang laughed, "Of course not—the island is invisible."
Yuto suddenly smiled to himself.
Yun Yun noticed and asked softly, "Xiao Tu, what's making you so happy?"
Yuto grinned. "I have an idea—anyone who wants to join our team in the future will have to perform a talent show!"
Ni Shuang burst out laughing, "That's a great idea! I agree!"
Natto joined in, "Me too! It'll be fun."
Yun Yun smiled, "I have no objections."
Yuto nodded with satisfaction. "Perfect! Mina and her friends are coming tomorrow at noon. Let's have each of them showcase a talent before they can join."
Ni Shuang giggled, "Xiao Tu, you're getting more and more devious by the day."
