"So who are you bringing food for?" Brandon asked looking at the food container in Kylie's hand. She could feel his eyes on her after every few minutes.
"For my husband," Kylie replied after giving it a thought. She didn't want any complications with a stranger.
"You are married? You don't look like though," he said in a sad tone.
"Yes, I am happily married," she said with a smile showing her diamond ring to him.
"Which building?" he asked looking at the big commercial buildings ahead of them.
"Smith Corp," Kylie indicated at the tallest building.
"Your husband works there?" he raised his brows.
"Yes, can you please drop me at that corner?" she
"That's a bit far from your destination,"
"My husband is very possessive of me. So he wouldn't like it if he saw me getting out of a stranger's car," she responded. When they came to a halt, she got out of the car and left after thanking him.
