Kylie's P. O. V
By the time I came out of the CEO's office, I realized the full executive floor was empty. I searched through the floor for Sebastian but couldn't find him. Desperately I dialed the number of the receptionist, Clara.
"Mr. Sebastian left for his home about an hour ago. He asked me to inform you that if you have some urgent business deal to discuss with him, you can go to his apartment."
I hung up the call. Damn you Sebastian Smith, I cursed out loud. It was already 7 in the evening and I need to deposit the money before 10 pm. I have to get his signature on the cheque before that.
Without wasting any time, I rushed to the elevator. When I reached the exit, it was heavily raining. Can this day be any worse?
It took me another fifteen minutes to get a cab. I was fully drenched when I stood in front of his apartment building. The guards eyed me down from head to toe before dialing intercom.
