Kylie woke up to an empty bed. Sebastian was nowhere in the room. She placed her hand on his side only to realize it was cold. That meant he left the bed a long time ago.
"He must have gone down to have breakfast with Gran," Kylie murmured before leaving the bed. She went to the bathroom, brushed her teeth, and fixed her disheveled hair. After wearing the clothes sent by his Grandmother she looked at the mirror for a final check before heading downstairs.
Upon reaching downstairs, she saw Susan and Bella were talking about something serious. Bella watched her from the corner of her eyes and changed the topic all of a sudden.
"Mrs. Smith, you are already up. Had you had a sound sleep?" she asked with a grin. Though Kylie could read in her eyes that they were trying to hide something from her but she chose to ignore it since she's only a guest here.
"Good morning, Gran, and Bella. Sorry I overslept," she said with a bowed head.
